My Nigerian husband has an interview set up in May. We both received email this morning. It requires Marriage certificate (original) Photos from wedding, proof of communication, school document and passports. I have faith this will be good outcome. Just have to survive another 2 months.
What is the cheapest way to get him to Accra from Lagos? Please
Ohhh I wish you all the best Butterfly girl. Did your GCMS notes reflect any of this? were you surprised by their decision? You almost there. God is your help and your strength.

@Butterflygirl, I wish you all the very best with the upcoming interview. Just prepare whatever they mentioned to bring and send more proof of relationship and less for other document. But this Accra office has become something similar to a battle ground because few years back any person recommended for interview gets it between 3 to 4 months of the date the application was filed so medical doesn't expire but now they don't care but God is in control.

Does anyone recall any case of AVO applicants that did not have additional docs requested? Just curious.

My response might be a bit late, but that was our case. We did not hear from AVO until they sent hubby his PPR e-mail. When I received the PPR e-mail as I was cc'ed in, I was shocked; what? No additional docs!.
As the sponsor (who has been thru the FSW process), I did my due diligence to tie all lose ends and leave no room for doubt. Ultimately, God made it all possible.

Good luck everyone!

Thanks everyone. This is some movement. Didn't see this coming from the GCMS notes, nothing was written. Hoping for the best. Already contacted MP to see if they can help. If I had money I would go to the interview with him, but that is impossible unless I work everyday and even more. I need my husband beside me, as I'm sure you all are feeling the same. Soon we will be together, in Jesus name. Amen

MY GOD HAS DELIVERED ME OOOOOOO! Dear Forum family I am pleased to announce that after 8 Months and 29 days we recieved PPR. No interview and no additional document requested. God has favoured my love and I. I pray that this would be a domino affect and that PPR keep raining.

happy for you.i beg be fast to send in the passport

@butterflygirl, when you link your application did you see interview recommended? I think you should order a new note now and you would see the reason why they are calling for the interview. You know the MP can not stop the interview request that is the work of a lawyer so order the note since you have 2 months.
