Hi Tweeny...nothing would surprise me..
Thats so unfair! Have you talked to your mp? I would for sure involve them at this point...did you have an interview? They gave us the originals back at the interview

Yes we had interview in January. At the interview they took the originals and after couple of days requested additional docs.
I actually just checked the status of my application . It's saying decision made but I have no idea is it positive or negative. Now the only thing left is to wait for the letter from them.

Hey! That's good there is at least some movement! Could you share your timeline with us?

The message you saw is for everybody. I checked my wife's account after reading your post and I see the same message as yours. What confuses me is that our application is just 2 months old and what they put there makes you feel that the application is at the final stage. I hope they are speeding up to issue visa to all regardless how old is your application.

CIC did an update for application profile/statues and that is why the wording has changed for EVERYONE. There should be differences between profiles. Not all wording should be the same. Depends where you are in the process I suppose. I feel like they have elaborated a bit more. I think it's better don't you?

Hey guys, mine changed too. So this a change on the system, which is showing progress, lets just take it that they are working away on our applications. Soon PPR and Visa's to come!!!
;)

I just noticed processing times went from 15 to 16 months.

GisG2, check back in this forum for the August to September time frame, a few people were helping others debug their situation with linking. I linked fairly easily with what I learned from them. What stuck out in my mind was was that you have to include yourself in the count of applicants.

I did a quick search by clicking through the early 500's, but didn't see much except make sure you are using a computer, not a tablet nor phone:

Start on page 506 and work backwards through the pages, but jump some to get to the September and August times and see if you find something. It is tedious work, I was only able to go through 5 of them for you.

Or if you would like, send us more info or let's arrange a screen share offline and some of us can try walk you through it, if you are comfortable with it.

A very big thank you waitingINTO. Just gone through and would implement your advice.

I believe the time frame of 15 to 16 month is for the worst case scenario. There have been folks on this forum whom obtained ppr in less than 1 year. it can happen for you too. Don't lose hope ok

I used Name (all the names as it appears in passport) and date of birth , and I added the sponsor to the number of people in application. Boom! it got linked.

Totally agree. When I started following the forum in the mid-to-late summer, I was so excited by the timelines I was seeing. 90% of the people are in the 7-10 month time frame.
