Please how long does Accra visa office keep your passport it's been three weeks now no word from dem sent passport 27 January any help ?

CIC states it can take anywhere from 2 to 8 weeks. Congrats Andy2011 you are almost there .

I was told by my MP last week, who was in touch with an immigration officer here in Canada, that Accra is at 15 months processing. That's why I want my GCMS notes to see what is really going on over their. Snails.....lol Makes me laugh as that's my husbands favourite food.

The medical has not even been linked up, he did it 2nd week December. It's all a process, but I really would like to know where in the process there at.

15 months would make us wait until August. We can't survive much longer apart, going crazy each day passing.

Accra is at 15 months processing? Why would they be going backwards, tht just doesn't make sence to me? 80% of Inland and Outland applications would be finalized in 12 months or under. I have seen that to be true for AVO. For more "complicated cases" I would believe it would take longer and rightfully so as other factors would play into the delay: Additional documents or an interview if need be. There have been applicants who began this process and landed in under one year. I can only speak for our application as each file is different. We reviewed our notes and we choose to keep the faith we won't be at 15 months.

So your notes show that they have been working on your file? That's good news. At least it shows the files aren't just lying in a pile somewhere. When did your order your notes and what date was the last activity on your file?

To answer your questions, yes they have been working on our file. We ordered our notes Jan 12 and recieved them Feb 10. the last entry shows that our file is with Case assessment and they are in the process of determining the eligibility portion of our application. the date entered : October 24,2016.
Since we joined this forum, on the average it takes between 8 and 9 months for people to obtain their ppr after they have applied or filed their application.

You can only get to know that if your eCAs or myCIC says so or as in the case above, if you apply for your gcms notes and it is stated there. I only said he is close to the finish line on consideration that the average processing time we have seen recently is about 8-9 months even though we have seen people wait as long as 14 months. Everyone is just trying to be positive

She is friendly, she didn't ask me so many question as I thought ,
She didn't question me up to 30/minutes,
She told me she is happy with my relationship ,lol she is not even looking at my eyes,
She told me she is happy for the relationship and tell me goodluck,
She said she will send us a message .
I want to ask ,if an officer is happy with your relationship does it mean she will accept you? or call you for the second interview?
Or deny you?

i don't think you should worry about anything

Just be patient and pray that you receive that MSG speedily

Ok. It does sound like a nice interview. She probably needs to send you email for remedial and new police certificate. By the way, I didn't really know the police certificate expires. When did you get the Nigerian PCC and are you in Nigeria at the moment? Does it mean that all our PCCs will expire since AVO is really slow?
