Hi there...I know your pain so well...so very sorry..my husbands visa was also refused in 2014..do you have any idea who the officer was? Because it sounds very much like our interview..she focused mainly on his past...theres alot more to my story...lets just say this office broke alot of privacy laws...anyhow im back to the board..we just recently reapplied..on March 11...praying this time things go well..sorry this is in regards to mamadmamas post

@ pheggy not legal per se but i used someone who knows a lot about immigration and i was also hands on too. i got a lot of useful info from this forum.
 
We intend to send specific inquiry. That is an email or fax to Accra visa office to find out the state of our application .What address do we use and how is it done. A reply will be highly appreciated please.

@freshychichi why don't u request for ur gcms note rather!!!! That will show u a lot than a message from them saying ur application is in a queue.....that's just a suggestion :D :D

Which paper applications can I link to my online account?

Starting April 9, 2016, you can get more detailed status and your mail online for some applications. You will need to have an account. You can link the following paper applications to your online account:
•Visitor visa
•Work permit
•Study permit
•Visitor record

Statuses for applications submitted on paper under the Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Worker Program and the Federal Skilled trades program can already be checked online through your online account.

We will be adding new application types throughout the year:

May 26, 2016
•Family sponsorship (conjugal partner, common-law partner, spouse and dependent child) (Excluding applications to become a sponsor)

June 9, 2016
•Family sponsorship (other relatives, orphaned sibling, nephew, niece, grandchild, child to be adopted in Canada, child to be adopted by a permanent resident in Canada, parent and grandparent) (Excluding applications to become a sponsor)

July 23, 2016
•Canadian Experience Class (applications made before January 1, 2015)
•Federal Skilled Worker (applications made before January 1, 2015)
