You need to post a few more before you can update you profile. When did you apply and what stage are you at?

I applied back in Sept 4th 2015 and it still says in process

Hi All

Please this is the first time I have posted on this forum.
I applied in June 2015, transferred to Ghana in September 13th, Medical was done 01/2015.
Please I have been told to redo my police clearance. I lived in the UK before. However, before I applied I have not been to the UK, and the situation hasn't changed. Is it necessary for me to redo my UK police clearance, which I did in January, 2015 since I have not been to the UK since? I will redo the police clearance for where I am now but don't know if I have to redo for UK.

I will appreciate your response. Thanks.

Hi Group,

Wondering if anyone can offer some advice or insight into our current situation. I am a June 2015 applicant, and we heard from the AVO on March 18th, requesting a photocopy of my husband's WAEC, as well as copies of his passport bio data pages, and sent everything the same morning that we received the email. The email stated "Your application will be assessed in 10 days and the final decision will be based on the evidence on file at that time." The wording seems ambiguous to me, but in high hopes, we assumed this meant we would hear back close to that 10 day time frame. It has now been almost 4 weeks with no word. I understand the value of patience in this process, but waiting these past few weeks has been incredibly difficult compared with waiting all those 9 months to hear a single word! I am concerned, as I assume they had already assessed our file, for the most part, to determine what additional information they needed to request. We are trying to remain positive and sit tight, but wondering how we might go about trying to reach someone at AVO to see what is going on. All of the correspondence we had done with them prior to this was through my local MP.
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Get in touch with your MP so s/he can call them(AVO) to ascertain where they are .

Am sure that, if u check the email that requested the police clearance, the location for which its needed should b stated.

It doesn't make any sense to make a clearance for a place u haven't been to since the last clearance cuz the result would definitely be the same.

But, like I said, if the location is not specified, then please go ahead and make both, just like u did in d initial application.. When dealing with CiC, its always better to give too much than not enough.

It sounds like your mother is coming for a visit. read the instructions on CIC's website. Post your question in the visitors forum here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/visitors-b8.0/

Sorry I didn't properly read your post before responding earlier :(

CIC is asking you to redo the UK PCC because it is outdated. I believe PCC needs to be submitted within 3 months of the date of issue. You got the PCC in Jan 2015 and sent your allocation in June 2015. I believe that is why they are asking you to redo. That must be frustrating though. But please do as they have asked you to avoid any further delay. All the best.
