The finger print if it expired does CIC request to redo another one?? Or its just the medicals that need to be redone when it expires??

Hello to everyone... I have also sign it...quick question does the 26 month affect the ones who applied last year?? Since they increased it to 26 month??? I hope not because I'm draining already... :(

Based on my experience in this country it will affect all of us still waiting for a final decision/response. Doesn't necessarily mean your application will take 26 months but it technically means you can't complain or raise any alarm if your application is still untouched or finalized for 26 months considering 26 months (i.e 2 years and 2 months) is the average processing time.

I think someone was just playing with the website, they have reverted to 18 months again.

Hi to you all, does any one know if this new processing time affect applications that have been submitted before these new processing time (18-24 months) Any idea ? As i think that this may only be for new applications.

Happy new year everyone, it will be well with us all in Jesus name Amen.

Outrageous! 18 months, 26 months or whatever will not be our portion in Jesus name Amen.
Ridiculous! >:(

I'm not moved by what I see or hear..I shall only believe God's report, because he has the final say! God will surely come through for us all, I believe that so strongly!
Let's stay strong.

Hey! Happy New Year! From what I've noticed and experienced with CIC, they will do their best not to allow the Meds expire in their hands. The timeline they give is usually a braket. Just like at the bank we give a window of 5 to 10 business days to process things but we really do it in 48 hrs. They just don't want a bombardment of inquiries until the time given is lapsed as that would slow them even more. They would be answering emails instead of actually processing apps. I believe we will hear before the end of the month. Also, even if it affects everyone according to them, being that it is a queue system, they will get to ours soon as it has been in the queue for almost 10 months so they ones who will feel it most are people appliying now. They are quite far far away in the queue. If the Meds expire in their hands, or a passport: You redo. Most times, they don't ask for the police report again. But... It's to the discretion of the processor. It's almost over! Cheer Up! We are near the end!

Good Morning Guys,
Where can we get naija police certificate, can this be gotten from any police station or only state CID in Lagos? My wife does not reside in Lagos this is why I am asking. Look forward to hearing from someone ASAP.

Thanks for the link. I would have my wife us this process. How did you receive the certificate, by mail or email? Please advise at your earliest convenience. Thank you
