I feel you all, If this doesnt happen soon I need to go back to nigeria to be with my husband instead of being in canada being miserable.Im melody by the way in Calgary.anyone from there as well?

Hi Momma, I am also in Calgary and in the process of filing for my spouse.
Lets not relax and retire to faith alone in as much as we have genuine cases. I am warming up to write, Prime minister, immigration minister MP if need be.
During our FSW application, we were radicals and we wrote them all when LVO was lagging far behind VOs like NDVO. Best wishes in Jesus name.

@Destinyba, I'm glad you wrote a personal letter to Mr. Trudeau and Mr. McCallum........ your move make sense. Instead of venting on this thread, we should take our concerns to Ottawa, to the authority that can effect changes. For sure AVO should be investigated. I will also write office of The Prime Minister and The Minister of Immigration. Thanks

Thumbs up for writing the PM, Imm minister etc. Venting here is also not too bad. It reliefs the venter and makes us (the ventees) get more agitated to do stuffs like meeting MPs and writing appropriate authorities.

Yes my relationship is very genuine I am only afraid that even when they see everything we have provided to them that they still will refuse to see it. I also had some difficulty getting all the messages from ym as it would not allow me to go back all the way to 2012 it stopped processing the old messages and froze the page each time I tried on Aug 2013 so all I could do was provide an explanation. I was able to get some emails from 2012 and we also provided letters from my husbands friends and family as they saw us together during my stay in Ghana. I just pray that they will believe what I have provided to them

Please do not let fear take the better part of you. Stay positive and have faith in God. those VOs are humans not God,All will be well.

Also, lets do the needful be contacting MPs, Imm minister, sending case specific enquiries when we have to etc. Doing this is not rudeness but rather an expression of family reunification delays which has psychological, financial, emotional effects to mention a few

VOs are paid with out taxes, and they should help in uniting us faster or more VOs will help by treating our cases faster if we make our voices heared by the appropriate authorities

Above all, let us help ourselves by ensuring that all possible required documentations are submitted as appropriate and in good time

God bless you all. United we stand. If we all send letters with case specifics and explain our frustrations intelligently they will be forced to inquire or investigate the AVO and offices. If they are short staffed then maybe the government needs to hear it. Praying for reunification for all...

I think they have decided to join everything up all over the world. We use to be able to check for each individual visa office, but thats no longer possible.

Thank-you!!! I have signed the petition, my husband will be signing as well!! I also met with my MP before Christmas - he is following up directly with the Minister of Immigration regarding all the challenges and looking for answers/improvements ASAP. Hoping there is good news for many of us early this month.
