HI GUYS!

WHEN AN APPLICATION IS SENT TO AVO, DO THEY SEND A NOTIFICATION LETTER TO ALERT THE SPONSORED PERSON? OR IS UNTIL THEY START WORKING ON THE APPLICATION.

Once he application is sent to AVO you don't hear anything until the last stage of the process sadly

I JUST CKED MY APPLICATION STATUS AND IT SAYS DECISION MADE BUT NO PPR >:( :( >:( :( >:( :( >:( :( >:( :( IS THIS GOOD OR BAD ?????????????????????????????? >:( :( >:( :( >:( >:( :(
I will say this is GOODNEWS Doveheart. It ought to be. See no reason why it should be rejected, you did well with the interview. Traditional marriage certificate should not be a red flag to refuse an application. Please check your junk mail as well, as MOH said.

Hello Everyone,

Please stay strong and keep praying..surely your time will come.

A couple of things that I noticed...in 2014 it was way way faster than 2015, this might be because CIC officers change their location to different countries every now and then. So maybe this had an affect on why it slowed down. Also maybe there is a lot more people applying these days. But the most important thing is not to worry about the processing time on the CIC website. This is for worst case scenarios. I also encourage you all to order the GCMS notes. They're really helpful and you can see where you are in the process and if there is any comments being made about your applications. This helps you prepare.

The other thing is that previously, In Process meant that the applicant is done. It seems it changed now and they're changing the status to "In Process" early in the process. In my case I got In process and then I got the PPR a few hours later.

Stay strong and if anyone needs anything then please private message me as I don't come here as often.

God bless..

Moh

Thanks for dropping by Moh,
The wait is getting annoying.

This is how you apply for the GCMS notes. Your spouse has to sign a consent form and the the sponsor can ask for the notes from Canada (online).

CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME HOW OR WHERE I CAN OBTAIN AN ECAS NUMBER FOR MY HUSBAND APPLICATION. ITS BEEN SENT TO AVO SINCE JUNE 1. IVE BEEN CHECKING HIS EMAIL AND MY EMAIL, AND THERES NOTHING THERE.

THANKS

GUYS,

DOES CIC MANDATORY REQUEST FOR A DNA NO MATTER WHAT? BECAUSE MY HUSBAND HAS A SON, AND THOUGH HE WONT BE ACCOMPANYING HIM, HE IS STILL ON THE APPLICATION. I JUST NEED TO KNOW TO ACT FAST. THE WAIT TIME IS GRUESOME ALREADY!!!

You were probably approved to sponsor him. Keep a close eye on your emails now because you can't afford to miss it if they request for his passport. You would have to send in your passport within 15 days after they request it and if you miss those days you would have to reapply again. Best of luck.

hey love
can you please let me know how to obtain an ecas # for my husband or AVO will provide it later. I got client ID # as the sponsor. We should have gotten an ecas number when the file was tranfered to Ghana. Please help!

Hello. Naponga

Accra doesnt Provide you with your husband. From my experience dealing with AVO they keep e-mail to clients to minimum. The only option you have to get your husband' s client Number is to order GCMS note.
I order mine at The end if July. It just stated The did started processing my file and security, background check nor admisibility have been start yet. If you order yours you can see at what stage they are with your application. Bye the way Naponga you can Check your husband ecas with The case number and with his informations.

Take care
