I wonder why you didn't hear something yet from Accra by now. You applied first week of October. Moh, Mekus and Gonja has. If by the end of this month there is nothing, I will suggest you write to them or better still order what they call gcms note

It might be because my wife's application is in French. I'm really not sure. Thanks for alerting me to the possibility of GCMS notes. I found this forum online for others who might be interested: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/latest-caips-gcms-notes-forms-and-how-to-order-t99210.0.html.

I think I will hold off for a couple more weeks. I'm going to visit her soon, so maybe I'll get her to sign the consent release forms required by GCMS then.

You are welcome kpalimeyovo.
Application timeline should be the same be it in French or English.
I am hoping that you will hear something from them before the end of this week.

Hello Family!

Correct me if I am wrong, but Language is not usually a factor. However, if they have high absenteeism and vacations from their francophone officials, you could experience a bit of delay. I once experienced it and that's literally what the Immigration Clerk told me. (Go figure) But this is rare. I don't want to believe the odd case fell on you. But with that being said, order the notes and see if anything is required and causing the delay. I pray good news flow in July/August for all and Mighty Congrats to Mekus. FYI: please inbox advice u know can spark something else. This thread is very public and only God knows which immigration official could misinterpret something intended for good. Wisdom is indeed a defense. Love y'all.

How do you guys manage without your spouses? Its beginning to drive me nuts and I'm at the last hurdle. Then again, I have seen here face to face since 1st week in January.

I just keep praying that my PR gets put in my passport ASAP! Im ready to fly!

congratulations!! the wait is killing me. I applied first week of Feb and file was transfered to Accra VO March 31 but I haven't heard anything since. I am patiently waiting and hoping to hear something great soon

Hey Everyone,

Just to let you know my wife landed on June 20th at Ottawa Airport. I was with her as I went to Ghana for 2 weeks and we came back together. It was all smooth and the process took 15 mins.

Best of luck to all. Hello Ghanaboy, Lamour, Mekus and everyone else.

Gonja, I'm glad things worked out for you, it looked bad a few weeks ago but I'm glad and happy God helped you.

@Lamour how are you doing, we are moving close day by day and l pray the good news will be our portion soon, do have a good weekend too

Hi all,
i was wondering if someone can explain to me what "family composition certificate" on the sponsored spouse checklist is. Also do i need to add it to application? if yes, how and where can we get it? Thanks in advance!!

Please can you advise on the below. I was refused visa in the past but I didn't indicate I was refused on the 5669e form I sent to CIC because I didn't see it

The visa office in my home country sent me MR without an updated form. Should I now indicate it by sending them an updated form that I was refused before?

Wont they say I didn't fill that in the first form I sent to CIC Canada and take that as a misinterpretation? because am scared they will penalize me for not filling it in my previous form.

@Atupa101. Did the VO request that you update the same file, I mean 5669e form? If yes I think it should be in your best interest to straighten this out by correcting the mistake made priviously.
If I was in your shoes I will also write a small letter explaining that mistake.
When did you apply and when was your file has been transfert to Accra?
Best of luck to you.
Regards

Good day all and welcome to a week of positive outcomes and miracles!

I hope everyone had a good weekend and not too worried about applications statuses and so on. It will all work out for the best by God's grace.

:)

Good Monday morning to you MercyofGod and to all in the thread.
One day at a time, slowly but surely we shall all succeed.
All the best to us all as we wait patiently even though it's definitely not easy.
