I know of people whose VO was Accra and they never got the "Medical result have been received" update.

@ babytee were u told to send an updated family info with ur passport? Not sure which form is IMM8. Ve u sent ur passport via dhl, wat address did u write ie the canadian high commission in ghana

Sorry i am replying late.... Been a bit busy. U dont need any imm8 form if u havent changed ur family name nor travelling with families.....
I see u have sent ur passport, hope u remembered to snap recent passport fotos and also printed the email they sent to u?

I know of people whose VO was Accra and they never got the "Medical result have been received" update.

This may be because a lot of Accra applicants go for interview. The decision to call somebody for interview is made early in the process, while the "Medical received" is usually when a decision has been made.

A decision to request for your passport. They will not request for your passport unless your medicals and security checks are satisfactory.
That is, by the time you get the "medical received" update, you have either passed your interview or exempted from interview.
This of course is my opinion.

If they are satisfied with whatever they requested for, the next step for you should be passport request. Best of luck.

we had medical recieved 7 days after SA , it just get updated when they view your file and can match your medical recipt on the e system , that's to say they located it on their system . They then wait till after sometime to work on other stuff , so medical revived is nothing at all. Just means they got it. Hopefully we getter good need soon guys . Good day

@babytee well I still submitted the imm8 Form. Hope it won't be a prob coz I submitted d passport photograph I used initially whn I applied. Atleast they said the passport must be taken within 12months
