whats the meaning of AOR??

Acknowledgement Of Receipt

Oh wow... sorry I missed out this weekend on the request for support in regards to writing a letter to the media/ PM. This past week was very hard for me... 5 year anniversary and all by myself.

I am in full support! I would love to see any drafts and comment/ add as needed.

My concerns with the Accra office really lie with:

TIME WASTED.. they have taken too long to process these final steps for my husband. Medicals have been received since December 28, 2012 and was informed that our applications is in "que for final review" since the end of January.

The VO also did not accurately record questions asked and answered from the my husband's interview.

Let’s make waves so the Accra Office can the effects....

@ bbccanada,how can i do that,do i have to pay for that?

All you have to do is go to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/index.asp. You need to fill out the ATIP form and if you are not acting as a representative to your wife's/husband's correspondence then you have to fill out the ATIP consent form which you have to filled out scan to your wife or husband to sign it. Yes if you are in Canada you can apply for it and pay $5 then in about 30 day you will recieve it to see what the IO have writen about your file as well as having more idea about the direction of the file. I made a mistake cos i should have ordered this long ago rather than wasting time sending emails and the only answer i got in queue for review.

What success have people had in contacting thier MP to find out information about thier application?

Me personally i didn't have any success contacting my PM when i went to the office for help. I remember they told my that i am within the timeframe for processing so there is nothing they can do. They said they only enquery about an application that has passed the normal processing time. I also know that some people have had success with their MPS hence it all depends on the MP.

@BBCCANADA,ABOUT THE CONSENT FORM,IM I TO FILL IT FOR MYSELF OR FOR MY HUSBAND,AND THE INFORMATION I NEED IS THAT OF MY HUSBAND RIGHT? SO THE CONSENT FORM IS ABOUT HIM RIGHT?.THANK YOU FOR YOUR MANY HELP
