Please is there any specific number cic Ghana office could be directly contacted with except email?

There is, I think @Cutie101 called but they told them they cannot discuss applications on the phone and they should just email. I know, it's like we're completely helpless, no one to aid us in our search for answers.

The waiting continues then.

MPs will only go as far as your GCMS note...
it's the same report they give them

Have you spoken to your MPs office? They can look into the status of your application if you want them to.
Have you contacted them on yours, and how can one do that?

I actually got a call from the MP's office,
  • they got more than my GCMS notes
  • They were told that eligibility, background and security were started and in progress which is more than my notes said.
  • Also the MP office is going to call them as a follow up once a month with them (on their own without my prompting
  • Thy were told the standard commitment by December, but also told the mp that they have added additional staff
  • They told them to tell us not to redo medical until we hear from them (meds expire on sep 2nd)
  • Not much but mp reassured that note in file stating "ministerial" helps.
  • Also told me not to compare with other applications including post dec cos sometimes some people's background etc start right away and others they wait to start

My father spoke to the office, and they said they could look into it, but I'm waiting a bit. I also need to check with my lawyer if she thinks it's a good idea. I'll wait a bit longer. But to get in touch with your MP just find their office in Google and call.

Thank you for sharing that information. How much time between contacting your MP and when you got this info?

Less than 24hours. I was at his office at 2:30pm yesterday and they called me at 8:43am this morning. I got the sense had I been there at 8am yesterday, they'd have cal

People in the house, why are more and more people not populating their timelines on the left under their names? Once you posted 10 comments that field becomes enabled and you can update it. Please do so as it helps others to see what timelines we are working with and people don't need to keep asking. The older members of the forum from years ago did it and it helped us so I think we should continue it.

If you don't know how, please ask.

Thanks,

Thanks, but I only see 3 names with the visa office of Accra populated on that sheet. There is value to a spreadhsheet don't get me wrong, but at least if it's in people's timeline as well here one can just pop it open and have some context while answering questions rather than the back-and-forth and then having to leave the forum to check a spreadsheet.

I went on cic website to check the processing time again and it said 14 months for Togo. I'm from Togo and it's going to be 12 months in about 2 days for my application. I hope they keep their words and respect the processing time. For my medical examination it already expired. Nothing to say about that other than it's to be done again. But I think I should wait until they ask for it we never know. The wait is so frustrating... But I mean what else could we do but be patient. This can easily give a HBP. But I'm not gonna allow myself to fall since the future is bright. God is in charge for all of us.
