Hoping for more PPR's Visa approvals and good days to come. Soon we shall be with our loved ones.

Yesterday I spent another birthday without my husband :( , but I keep faith we soon will be together.
Can't wait for the interview!
I sent the package for my husband through DHL on Wednesday..... cost a lot! I had so much extra evidence, just from the past year while the application been in process!!! Almost could have hand delivered it myself, I wish. (3rd trip in 1 year....wishful thinking) ;D

But in another week and half I get to go back to work, physio going well. I'm almost back to normal. Can't believe how bad the sprain was.
And than the interview......need to make money!!!! Hoping will be buying a plane ticket in the near future. :)

Have a good weekend everyone. Keep faith.

Hey fam, so I just got back my gcms notes I ordered. What does "sponsorship length(month) mean?

Hey guys
I have a question that I need an answer to

My hubby lives in USA

So we heard that when his visa is ready , in order for him to enter Canada
He will have to leave USA and fly to Nigeria and leave from Nigeria to Canada

Now my question is this true ? Does he have to live USA ? Also can he send his passport from USA to Ghana ?

Please help

Sponsorship length means the number of months you signed the undertaking to sponsor your partner. You are liable for 3 years ( 36 months) to ensure you can support your partner basic needs. They cannot go on social assistance during this time or else that's something you would owe the government.

Hi Peg. Sorry I'm not sure I have an answer to your question. Did your husband receive PPR recently or did he also have another visa application in process? Im asking because I see your application was for September and if it's PPR that's really exciting!

Am curious.. where did you hear this from? I am sorry I do not know the answer to this however try asking on the September 2016 Outland page. Be mindful of what you "hear". Am not saying is not credible nor am i saying it is. but some things we should take as a grain of salt. Am sure someone would be able to clarify this issue as what we hear sometimes does not apply to all.

Hey Butterfly girl.Happy Belated birthday. May it be the last one you spend alone. are you prepared too for an interview? At times in some cases, visa officers call the sponsor as well to ensure the information provided in the interview from the applicant is adjacent to what he is saying. I blv you two should take time to go over everything to ensure a smooth, comfortable process and they would not be too much delay in issuing a final decision towards your case. I wish you and your partner all the best of luck ok. Have a great weekend too.

I think once your husband's file gets to decision making,it will be transferred to the visa office in the states and he can travel from there into Canada.i say this because reading through one of the applicants file who was located in Kingston .when her file got to decision making, her passport was sent to the office in Kingston and she was called to know if she can pick up her passport and she said yes.so I think you husband can fly from the states into Canada but remember every case and situation is also different.wish you all the best

So the 36 months doesn't have anything to do with how long the process will take? Wheeew! Thank God!
