Hey gapoha,
if you notice on your SA letter, it state that your file has been transfer to AVO base on your country of origin. when they are sending your PPR, they will request you to send your passport to china because your fill will be transfer to China for further or no process at all and to issue your visa.

Thanks very much Ikema, for the information, my SA stated exactly that and I was worried because wouldn't like to post my passport all the way to Accra. Thanks again bro. Wishing you a successful landing!!!! Cheers!

Hey everyone. I have a question I hope someone can shed some light on.

We can only see ECAS as we have a representative who logs into myCIC for us, so we only see the line by line updates on the Sponsor and PA side. On the PA side it says

1. We received xxxxx application for permanent residence on August 23, 2016.
2. We started processing xxxxx application on October 6, 2016.

I was wondering about how long after that we should expect to see Medical Received? Mostly everyone on the August 2016 outland group has Medical Received by now, I was just wondering if maybe AVO took longer to update that. Can anyone share how long it took for them for Medical Received to show up? We did our medicals a few months before we mailed our app in.

He needs to be patient - it will take some weeks or months before the medical
Received line is updated on ecas.
