Hello house. Pls i applied since August 3rd 2016. No new yet or mail from cic. I sent everything upfront. And my file has been transferred since spt 1st and they started processing 19th spt. Review eligibility in progress. Pls advise before i run mad.

If you applied to AVO it's 9-10 months wait. They are currently working on Dec-Jan 2016 applicants.
Just be patient. It will come in no time

We are April Applicant and our file was transffered to AVO in June. I just came back from Nigeria for a short vacation. Pls I want to update my file regarding my récent trip to see my husband pls is it Okay to send the documents through DHL or UPS post to thèm? I will advise you to not send it. If they request for additional documents to prove genuity of marriage you will have new and tangible stuff to send. They might not even request for anything. This is my opinion.

Freshy is 100% right don't send anything, just keep the document should they request for more prove. As Freshy said, they might not.
In my Case, my spouse came to visit me after we submitted our application, we didn't send the info to AVO again. Keep cam and drink some light beer as you patiently wait according to Timosky.lol.

Even the AOR2A SEF I HAVE NOT RECEIVED SINCE MY FILE WAS TRANSFERRED SEPTEMBER 1ST TO ACCRA. THIS EMBASSY IS THE WORST I HAVE SEEN. GO TO OTHER FORUMS THINGS ARE HAPPENING WITHIN TWO MONTHS. I NEED TO KISS MY SPOUSE THIS YEAR WETHER THEY LIKE IT OR NOT. I WANT TO GO SLEEP WITH MY SPOUSEON THE SAME BED IN CANADA.

AVO is faster compare to some visa offices. Don't worry about AOR2 they hardly send it. Keep cam and pray tor the best.

Tender, I applied like three weeks after you and I didn't get an AOR 2 either, just saw that they started processing the app again on Sept 27th. Accra is not known for giving it, and if you're referring to the August Outland group which I'm also part of, those who got their PPR already are super RARE cases. That does not happen often at all. This wait is normal. This is going to be a long long process. Like everyone has said, it's going to be like 6-9 or even 10 months of a wait. It's not something that is going to happen this year most likely. I know it's hard not to be with your spouse, I hear you, it sucks, but you need to be patient, and everyone here has waited WAAYY longer than we have, we all have to wait our turn. We can do it, we're all in it together. Don't stress too much oooh. The day will come.

Hello all, just to update you that passport is sent to the high commission as of Monday, October 17. Can anyone here let me know how long it typically takes for the visa to be issued? The other concern I have is that DHL where I am based (Senegal) don't do prepaid envelopes. I did pay for a return service, but the way this works is that once the visa is ready to be picked up (i guess AVO will let me know its ready) I have to call DHL here, who then call DHL in Ghana. DHL in Ghana then goes to the embassy to pick up the package for delivery. Just curious if this is the same process those who have received PPR went through? look forward to hearing from you all.
