What's your ecas status? Any changes apart from in process?

Hi Lamour, it saids decision made and that a correspondence was sent to us on October 15. As at now, i haven't seen any correspondence yet. I am confused and not sure if its normal. It went to DM days after they received the passport through DHL. I am tempted to email them. Can those who got their visas share some ideas?

I haven't been in Canada before @Lamour nd my husband was not sponsored by another spouse.

Perfect. Do not worry. All is well. It's the condition you have to meet when sponsored. PPR is right at the door step for you. All the best.

My dear, I don't think you should worry. It's still within the normal process to have your passport back according to the timeline of others. But you can PM MercyofGod to know the changes of ecas.

My ecas has not changed neither have we received any email as regards additional document. Kind of in the dark but we are positive.

Thank you hun. I am not panicking. It just doesn’t make sense that we haven’t received the correspondence they apparently sent on October 15th. I am assuming it’s the confirmation to pick up the passport. However, the update on Ecas saids consider delays in mails so I guess we will wait lol

Hello to everyone...as for me I refuse any delay concerning my sponsorship.... I must be in Canada to celebrate Christmas with my lovely husband... Yes the new election and outcome is very favorable to immigrants and that will actually speed things up and not delayed...
At Benestel we are moving forward very soon we will hear a passport request... God is speeding things up for us all its always important to think positive and believe that nothing is difficult in the eyes of God...

At crucial you will hear a good news too...everybody will hear a good news before this months ends

That might be so @crucial. Political activities here can affect visa offices and high commissions to Canada. Even within Canada, public sectors are. Nevertheless, it's not a significant change in the process.
