Can someone help me out or throw more light on this?.... I have been trying to check the ECAS and I noticed that I can no longer use ECAS to see the status of my application. Is this normal?

I tried checking the FAQ and this is what they said:

There may be differences between the application you sent and the supporting documents (such as a passport or marriage certificate) that the person being sponsored sent to the visa office overseas. That may be why Client Application Status (CAS) can no longer identify you based on the information you type in.

You may have been able to see the status of this application in the past on CAS because CAS was using the information you sent with the original sponsorship application in Canada.

However, once the visa office overseas starts handling the application, CAS will use the information in the supporting documents that your family member submitted.

If you are having problems, please check that:
•any letters you got from the visa office or case processing centre show your correct ◦name,
◦date of birth,
◦place of birth and
◦other personal details and

•the details you put on the original application are identical to those on the supporting documents you sent.

Is there something i need to do?

If you are entering the client number that you got in the SA email then in that case you should be entering your information (the sponsor) not the applicant's. So in other words, enter your name and DOB and place of birth along with the UCI number in your SA email.

If you're using the File number then in that case you would enter your husband's information (the principal applicant).

Try that and let me know.

There is also the possibility that your husband checked it and by mistake he clicked the option to not allow access to anyone except him? or maybe you did that by mistake?

Sometimes ECAS goes down as well..so you can wait a bit and try again

No he didn't. and no I wouldn't have done that...

Yes, it should be there too..It's F000 then a bunch of numbers. In that case enter your husband's info
