Also, my wife is going to school in different city from where she will be mailing her passport from, will it be better to have return address as her school? Can her mother pick up the mail on her behalf?

We sent the police certificate as we did not send initially. Also the personal information form was requested in our email. Good luck.

Obannobi - congrats!!! I have good news too. This morning I also received an email from Accra saying the visa is ready!!!!!!! We are so happy.

Now with the passport I believe you have to send photos, the IMM08 form (showing no changes) and a copy of the letter saying your visa is ready.

Wow, wow, I am so happy for everyone. When are you guys sending your passport? I need to know what you guys are doing in regards to pre paid envelop, any suggestions?

Congratulations to everyone here,we shall all receive very good news,just that in my case,the processing is a Lil different but hope it all end soon,obo,had u known? U would wait instead of going for vacation,but i still believe it worth it,congrat to u and obronicoco

We will be sending ours tomorrow. Probably DHL, when you go to send it you just include a pre-paid DHL return envelope inside for them to use. Not sure on the cost, I can update you tomorrow

Welll....actually we just realized my hubby's passport expires in 4 months, so he has to get a new one! Oh my! Going to get an express on in Accra then sent it to the embassy next week.

My hubby is currently in Accra - which makes things much easier.

How long does it usually take to put the visa in? Anybody know?

My hubby's was about 4 working days.

He said it was ok from start to finish. He dropped his passport on a Friday and it was delivered the next Friday. However, the return tracking was generated on the Thursday. He did not pay return until it was delivered as DHL was unable to predict the return cost due to inability to know the exact weight of the package.
