tnx obronbini,my wife is a citizen of canada,i met her online in 2006,but we started talking and getting to know each other in 2009.she came to nigeria that same year and i proposed to her,in october 2010 she came back and we got married.she applied for sponsorship in december and i went for an interview in march.we were denied because they said i dont know much about my wife and that i lied to her about my religion...i told her in 2009 that i was a Jehovah witness but before we got married i told her that i am not a Jehovah witness,but she still went ahead to marry me.as we speak we have a 12months baby girl together.i miss my family .we have applied again in march 2014,they sent the form back in april for correction,and we sent it back in may,now they emailed my wife in july i guess that my file is now in ghana.i also changed my email when my file was in ghana and they told my wife that the changes has been done.so any advise for me pls

Its been a long journey for sure. I hope your package this time around is airtight because cic is going to deeply scrutinize your application.Although you may be lucky not to get called for interview like someone on this forum who was dened and then reapplied. Be positive and pray if you believe in prayers.I wish you the very best.

Out of excitement I was unable to update you guys. Received our passports with visas on Monday. We thank God. We will be landing in Toronto sometime next month. For those still waiting, have hope in the process, it will be your turn next and you can join your families. Cheers.

sorry to hear that. I hope you sent as many prove as you can this time . Did you appeal and lost ? I think lying to your spouse was what caused it . And not answering questions about your spouse can be a problem for you too , I don't know how things will work out but read through the forum . They doubt your relationship . So gather as much evidence as you can to send in when they ask for additional document . This is a bit difficult . What reason did you give for saying you are Jehovah witness when you are not? And how did they found out ? Take it easy and continue to read on the forum . Prepare very well this time and let see what happens. Pray hard too. Hopefully everything goes ok . I don't know if you can be approved on humanitarian grounds . Did you try to send anything to make them believe you ? Let wait and see what happens. Request gcms note to see what's happening with your application . Continue to gather proves Untill it over

Yeah, same with me. It was delivered on wednesday and i got the mail to come pickup friday. Its the courier that is taking so much time.

The 12 month baby girl in that relationship is enough proof to CIC I advice that @belfy do a DNA and sent to them as well. that will supersede any other concerns they may have. He will surely get a positive response but they may just delay the process. That is what they know to do well.

how long did it took for you to get it stamped ?

Within a week. From tracking passports was delivered to the ambassador on Wednesday and was ready for pickup Tuesdays. Exactly one week.

No, its better you fill a new one. The imm8 has been updated.
