Can anyone guide how can we sponsor depandent child who is in Canada on Visitor visa. My son is 2 years old and is in Canada. Which class we should select in Form imm0008?

In which class did u apply? I am planning to sponsor my 2yr old son who is in Canada on visitor visa. But they say that if u apply on family class then application will be processed outside Canada. Please guide.

Is there any option to select inland or outland in generic form? My son is 6yrs old with me in Canada on visitor visa. How can I fill form as Inland as there is no option

Sponsor approved: January 28,2020
Medical request : Jan 28, 2020
Medical completed: Jan 29, 2020
Medical passed: Jan 31, 2020
Application forwarded to Mississuaga: Feb 3, 2020
Waiting for the next communication from them! Hopefully everything goes well

But if u have choosen Family class then they will send application outside Canada for processing - as per their guide. So under which did u applied. And my wife is in India. Can she become cosigner?

Hello, I am almost done with filling out the forms/application. just wanted to know as an inland applicant how I should submit my documents? Is it online or I have to mail to one of those addresses mentioned on the CIC website? Thank you so much in advance.

Has the IMM0008 form changed? I applied for PR for my 3-year-old twins who are holding Visitor Visas in Canada in Jan. I applied that inland, of course. You can just choose dependent child as your category.

Any update from NDVO for any one, any DM or PPR

No update from NDVO, no Dm no ppr, shows in process, got pre arrival letter passed more than 3 month, going to expire medical soon , processing time tells 12 month now running in 13 month, is ridiculous, frustrating, no way to complain, is really killing us.

Not seeing any update from NDVO for dependent.. I wonder if Spousal applications are only prioritize..

Hey guys.. just wanted to share a quick update for everyone who is on edge like me.. I was able to see my son's application on ECAS in process using his temporary file number minus the X.. it says application received on April 17th, 2020.. I hope this gives hope to others as it surely put my mind at ease.. if there are any more updates I'll be sure to let you know.. BTW I haven't received AOR yet.. hoping to get it soon
