Hi All,
I have landed myself in the soup. I sent my daughter's paper for dependent child sponsorship in October'18. I received the returned application yesterday from CIC stating i had missed out a signature on one of the forms. This means i have to send her papers again and the clock starts from zero. This is almost february. So no way she is getting her one time entry visa stamped before October / November given the current processing times. My daughter is in India with my parents and i had planned to bring her here in July'19 assuming her paper work goes through. But now that it is sent back and i don't have enough time to get her PR before July, can someone please suggest what are my options?
Can i apply for her visitor visa and then start her process again once she is here? Has anyone done that before? What are her chances of getting her visitor visa approved? Any advice will help. I can't wait for another 9 months to get her here. It is such a harrowing experience to be away from her.
Please advise.
Regards
Ashita
