Buddy i have sent my full docs and received the letter dated in CHC ND on 08th April.....Its going to be one year buddy...still the same////so guys....they will increase the time any day to 1 year and more in coming months.....and they are not responding to my enquiry its been more then 2 weeks....so dates are just a myth now...just wait and watch when you receive medicals....

Yes the processing time given on the this website is based on complete application package i.e. submission of the entire file with supporting docs to the ND office (where we recieve the second AOR). The processing time is a total of 11 months after submission of complete Application Package (including medicals and Visa issuance, 10 months is not an updated one), so by current standards, one will be processed completely in 11 months.

@ Anil_india: Dont worry Bro, may be u will get the medicals & Passport requirement together, as they have to close ur case in 11 motnhs anyhow...Good Luck to all of u.

I think the best reason for the delay is that CIC have reached the CAP of 1000 applicants for this category.
Otherwise more or less we could have rcvd the medicals in time period for sure.
Now I think we have to wait for the next CAP period. And we could be among the front applicants in the next cap.
I dont know when will the next lot open.
Anybody here have this info?

What I have noticed that people with NOC code 0111/1111 are being delayed. I am also one of them. I think there is not enough demand for our occupation in Canada.

They have had an overfill of 0111, 0213, 1111, 4131 & 4121 in the last 2+ years. Priority for further processing in these NOC's will be low.

I feel that there is a large backlog of cases for both pre-June 2010 cases and pre-Feb 2008 cases at CHC ND. Also no. of apps in 0111 and 1111 is q. high as compared to other categories and as we know they are no longer in 29 cat. list. Hence there is delay in 0111/1111 category which might increase as CHC ND seems to be focussed on post-June 26 cases (possibly due to Min. instructions?)

One of our friend in this forum also mentioned in his post that one of his friend is working CHC Delhi and file processing is taking place basis several factors like file transfer date/Document submission date/demand and supply factor of occupation in Canada. So, I think Canada had enough of 0111 and 1111 categories in past few years and there is not enough demand for us at the moment. This might be the reason for delay in our application. I think this is correct also, better live here rather struggle for job in your specialized area in Canada and end up doing labor job. So, let CHC take time and we all also should keep focus on career here also. Do not entirely depend upon immigration options. Most of us are working at a very respectable position in India and getting handsome salary. Take your final decision of moving to Canada only when you have visa in your hand. ( We have also noticed few cases wherein Interviews were called by CHC after medicals).

You may be correct that 0111/1111 is not in demand due to excess immigrants of these NOC but if you check NOC wise detals on workingincanada.gc.ca site you will see that in this year 0111 are excess as per budgeted data they have provided but 1111 are short by 4000 odd. means they will still required.

Now after several years exp in 1111 one can be on 0111 so there is no need to think about excess or shortage. Since this is a projected data so it will be on demand base during the year that's why they will be issuing us the visa accordingly , that is what i feel. I also think that our cases are already included in projections of immigrants....

1111- 124320 - 119180 = +5140 short

Processing time mentioned in the AOR -Applications for permanent residence in canada in the category you have applied to, require an average of 8 months to process at this office. if you have not received any instructions from this office 3 months after you submitted your full application, you are requested to contact this office directly.

Can I contact them to know the status of my application?
