There is a very strange and shocking discussion doing rounds in CANADIAN Political circles

they are discussing a possibility of blanket return of files without visa to applicants who are in the back log,there by effectively finishing the backlog through the back door

How successful they will be I dont know

Is it legally Possible dont know

Will applicants like us with processing date or In process be effected if this rule is cleared ?

there are parliamentarians against this rule too but will there will prevail is not certain

having an anxious time

New Zealand had once made it legalised and cleared all backlogs by just removing the exisiting files and started fresh.

Those who have got advice from NDVO that their file has been approved after necessary evaluation, dont have to worry.

This is basilly going to affect the pre Feb 2008, I guess.

Different things are being proposed to reduce backlog and discarding it completely is one of them.
Some applicants can be taken in provincial nominations etc. etc..

It will take time to implement this drastic step. New Zealand is a small country with comparatively lesser immigration.
Canada is wholetogather a diff game.

Eitherway it will affect Pre Feb 2008 cases.
All people who applied on so called Fast Track need not worry...
