After medicals and Landing fee and sending last batch of updated documents on 24th july i was hoping to get PPR1. I sent CSE today and got this response

"Your file is currently undergoing background checks. Please allow a minimum of four months before making contact.

Please contact us only if there are significant issues that arise, as we are focusing our efforts on processing files and may not be able to respond to routine case enquiries. Also, please do not send duplicate hard copies of any information you submit.

We appreciate your patience during this process."

Stupid BG checks. Can any one explain what exactly they are?

Dear Pakistani Mates


It wise to make NICOP for all members of family before leaving, http://www.nadra.gov.pk/index.php/products/cards/nicop?.

This is very important and easy to get this from Pakistan, as any error in data or in case of any objection raised , it is very easy to get this settled here in Pakistan.


Processing times at the consulate can be in months , and it costs a lot in terms of effort that is required , specially taking day off , and spending on transport etc.

My cousin faced lot of issues in Sydney , Australia - As on daily basis , consulate came with unique issues , and she was helpless , and was forces to provide all required information to them , including death certificates of her parents etc.

In addition to above do get FRC for your family , your parents family and your spouses family.
Get Nikkah Nama computerized - Its easy to get these now

Zahid bhai , you need to get only one "Nikkah Nama" computerised , the for the wife that all of us has declared , dusri wali sabar kar lee gee

Your PPR-1 is on the way , Insha Allah you will get this by August 31,2014.

I would also suggest initiating a CAIPS enquiry. CIC are not infallible. After 2 months of submitting meds, i was informed that the report for one child had not been "loaded into system". So please chase them.

Please contact IOM with email , or rather drop them email on

canmedpk@iom.int and mhdislamabad@iom.int

and advise them to upload medicals of your kid , and confirm your through return email
