Thoz who got 6-12 months wait letter

Its been a while since I came on this forum. been busy. I landed in Toronto on 17th June and for past week or so I have been online for most of the day applying for jobs. I was called for an interview for a Manager's job in the first week in a Toronto based company. Please pray that I get it. the compensation package is really nice. my daughter is called for initially assessment on 24th July for school registration.

I get Nostalgic on some days but than remember why we came here and it helps pick up spirits.

Can someone pls tell me what are the avg charges to remit amount from Pakistan bank to canadian bank.? Is their any other taxes on it or other legal formalities

There are two type of charges.

1. That will be charged by your bank , will be max 16 or 100 US $
2. Charged by Bank In Canada - Contact your Canadian Bank who will inform you about this.

I remitted a sum of US $ 2200/- for my sisters basement rent in Feb 2013 , and local bank deducted $ 398 on this !!!!!!!

Its better to get FDD in your name , any one , your father , brother can get in your name upon production of support documents as required by Bank.

FDD from SCB costs US $ 16/- and TD Bank Canada charges $.5/- as collection fee

Today I have got my Passports with Visas and COPR . Visas are valid till May 2015.

I am grateful to Al Mighty Allah , who has given me strength through out this procedure , that for me was a test of Patience and Character . I believe that I have tried my best to meet this challenge , and pass on this experience of “Waiting With Faith” to my children's , and possibly to next generations.

I am thankful to all of you , who has supported me , and celebrated my all levels of processing , like it was yours.

Insha Allah I will be regularly contributing on this forum , and am at back n call of the ones who need me , for this immigration process and for settling in Canada.

Alhmdllah, i too have got Visa's & COPR today. Finally, a long & tiring journey comes to an end but i know & everyone knows that this is just the beginning. We have to face lot's of challenges in Future, may God be with Us.

My best wishes are for all those, who are still inprocess. Insha Allah, keep faith the best is about to come.... .

Oh yes, my landing plan. Well, planning to land in coming spring (March or April, 2015). Meanwhile, have plans to get Canada's Engineering body certification & pass equivalency exams. May God guide us the best.

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

Assalam o Alaikum w.w.,

Alhamdulillah...........we landed on 28 June in Toronto with all prayers of my parents and friends.

It took around 30-40 minutes to come out from airport. All went very smooth Just signed on COPR and all officers welcomed with a smile and also wished me Welcome to Canada. The only questions was how much I brought as Cash no one asked me to show money. They provided many brochures as information and forms to apply for child benefit, public health insurance and SIN

There was 4 cars to receive us on Airport, 1 car took my luggage to Motel 1 car took my family to Motel and 1 car I sent back (extra) and with last car we went to Cargo and collected my Boxes which was under Etihad Cargo in same flight.
All my friends were so helpful in settling.

Next day we moved to a basement in Mississauga arranged by my one friend 850 CAD$ per month including W&E

Got internet password free from but surely I will share some money with him lets say 20-25$ per month

Today will do other stuff insha Allah and I believe it will take next few days to get adjusted...

Bank accounts opened in TD on Sunday some branches open 7 days a week.

Alhamdulillah I am feeling so lucky that I have chosen this country for me & my family future.

Thanks for your all prayers and compliments. I feel that I am not alone here but all of us are together for a bright future insha Allah

Google Sheet is up-to-Date most of applicants already got the Visa and insha Allah rest will get it very soon.
Just look at cell "K2" in google sheet and you will see up-to what page it is updated. I will update once I get some free time.
