Hi,

Anyone who has taken Police Clarence Certificate from USA?

My friend got request to submit PCC within 30 days, but FBI says that it takes atleast 3 - 6 months.

Any suggestions

My name on the passport which was submitted to Canada in 2010 has been changed now since it was wrongly printed by the Indian Embassy in 2011 at the time of renewal...

I was too lazy to change it back to normal and today I had to because of some property back home....

I have done my medical in October and if i get my passport request can i send the new passport??

it says in the passport my new name and also "previously know as" the old name...

only difference in the last name is the first and the first name is last...

If your medical forms were as per your current passport then there is no problem otherwise you may send a scanned copy of you new passport requesting to update your name in CIC database to avoid any problem

My brother who applied in march 2010 recvd 18 months wait letter today. Very upset abt long wait at CICs part. Hopefully 18 months is not literally 18 months

I have heard that we should have our passports valid for six months for travel. Is this correct?

My passport will expire in January 2015 and as per the above, I should travel before July 2014, if get visa before it.
