In my knowledge it is very common for applicants from Pakistan to get PPR 30 to 60 days before expiry of medicals (probably due to lengthy background checks). Re-medical is not that common.

I completed my medical in April 2013 and haven't heard anything since then from PVO........ sincerely hoping to get the PPR (at maximum) by December inshaa Allah.

Let's hope for the best.

Sir

Plan to land in between March 15 and March 31, 2014

Mian g Could you please check in your gcms about section 15(a), 19(a) and did they mention about medicals if printed and kept in file etc....I think that the mentioned due date is not about medical....it might be for something else.
ONly s15 (a) in GCMS on last 5 pages. Nothing mentioned about medical, only "Not yet started" while in last two CAIPS was clearly written "Print Medical, Keep in File".

I have a personal feeling that medical will be sent before December but the more worrying thing is the security checks which they have not initiated as yet and which may take a hell of time......anyways at least things have started moving in LVO and it will eventually come up with something positive for our group inshALLAH.

after review of my latest GCMS which i got last week there is no change versus before. they have not done anything since june 2013. security screening has not even started. i think PVO works a little different they put medical before security screening. so people have to wait a long time for their PPR.

My bank draft for RPRF sent in Nov2012 has been en cashed in July 2013, a long delay. Just looks time buying tactics. Fresh GCMS shows "cost recovery completed 24/07/2013".

that's really frustrating and disappointing but I guess when our turn will come things will speed up inshALLAH Meanwhile we must stay positive and pray. :)

Lets hope so and will stay positive InshaAllah.

Just sent an email to let me know tentative time frame of the next steps if possible. Lets hope it acts as a catalyst.

You should shoot an email every 3 weeks it won't hurt you this will keep your file being checked

What i and Zeshananis have concluded during our conversation recently that they are working with a strategy that they dont work on both the MR & PPR1 at the same time. When they start issuing MR, most of the people get their MRs and very few gets PPR1 in that period (as it is happening nowadays) and when they start PPRs, very few gets the MR. Please shed some light on this :-\

or maybe they work on applications in batches so they dont pile up lot of medicals at the same time. really hope next batch of MRs will start soon.
