Received my GCMS (First Time as last 2 times were CAIPS) and not a good news ,,,,,,,,,DUE DATE changed from 01/09/13 to 10/06/2014. Worried and puzzled now.

Have you found any clue or anything in the notes which is delaying your case or what might be the reason for such a long delay it must not be the visa quota because they are giving visas

No nothing unusual or case delaying clues. Even the BFD has been changed from 01/09/13 to 10/6/14 and RFRF encashed in July 2013, sent with updated docs in Nov 2012.

I think this is the date that your case will be finalised it's not the date that MR will be sent

One question: what is PPR1 and PPR2. Why would they request your passport second time if visa is stamped first time?

Also, after visa is stamping, generally how much time is left for medicals to expire? Or in other words normally how much time is left to land in Canada once PPR request received? I heard from some people that PPR came when only 1-2 months were left for medicals to expire and people had to rush. Is that common?

And lastly, what is the percentage of people who get request for re-medicals in case they didn't get PPR request in 1 year? Is that a common phenomenon?

Hi,

I got my GCMS last month and there is no DUE DATE in it at all. In fact there is no future date. All the dates mentioned are records of past reviews. Can someone please help me where I can find the DUE DATE?

One question: what is PPR1 and PPR2. Why would they request your passport second time if visa is stamped first time?

If u r in Pakistan, as per law u can't send out passports. Since our cases are finalized across borders, we are asked to submit details via PPR 1 to our VO and passports to islamabad via PPR2.
Meds gets expired right after an year i.e. From the date u gone through tests.
It's not necessary PPR comes when two months are left in expiry of meds, it varies on case to case basis.
% not so high, they can even send PPR When there are days left in ur med expiry, so be prepared. I would suggest a CSI if only two months are left in expiry...

Mian g Could you please check in your gcms about section 15(a), 19(a) and did they mention about medicals if printed and kept in file etc....I think that the mentioned due date is not about medical....it might be for something else.

Are people getting enough time to land? I was thinking of moving if and when I get my landing right. But if days are left in landing then that would be impossible to make that big move? Any option to extend the landing?

In my knowledge it is very common for applicants from Pakistan to get PPR 30 to 60 days before expiry of medicals (probably due to lengthy background checks). Re-medical is not that common.

I completed my medical in April 2013 and haven't heard anything since then from PVO........ sincerely hoping to get the PPR (at maximum) by December inshaa Allah.
