You will shortly receive the medical forms, by email (this is a new procedure and forms are no longer sent by post with photo affixed). If not received, please advise us.

Please provide the following items in addition within 60 days:

1. Right of Permanent Residence Fee ($980). Bank draft is required.

2. Police certificates from Pakistan for yourself and your spouse and from UK for yourself.

I met with someone here in Toronto who is a landed immigrant and was active on this thread some time back before his immigration.
He was referring to this thread and about the delay of your (sibbi) case as example. He was of the view that you applied as a vocational instructor, your photo is appearing on institutions' website as instructor but the confirmation of your experience letter wasn't satisfactory when check was done! That's how you are put on hold till detailed verification by ECU.
My advise to you is that - pl check is this the real reason? If not then ignore my reply otherwise work out to resolve this issue; means send CIC the required proof to satisfy VO requirement.

The above was not the reason for delay. The VO checked the website and found my name in the faculty list of department and than noted his remarks that he is satisfied with job experience certificate and entered positive SELDEC. After that my original documents were sent back. Than visa officer asked for criminality and security checks. It is clearly mentioned since spouse is civil therefore he has no further crim/security concerns. After crim/sec checks nothing left pending as per lawyer and pending background check is just excuse to satisfy the applicant. My case never referred to ECU. Actually, the reason behind delay is that most of professions are not in demand and excess applications in the said NOC are received so they are delaying. In October/November applications are taged for visa issuence. Let see what happen in October/November, if no update than I will go for alternate options.

Hopefully everything will be ok. Check the thread and you will find msaleem216 as the oldest applicant in this thread (2007).

You are right but he is not M1 applicant. So as per M1 list am the oldest one who has not got visa.

one of my friend applied as doctor on the same time line of mine, received RPRF+MED together yesterday. His VO also London and he is staying in Abu dhabi.

Hello Parry,,

It went smoothly. for my kids, they did urine test and normal physical checkup and sent the result to LVO on the same day by e-medical.
for myself and for my wife, they made the same normal physical check up and X-Ray for chest and blood test which took 10 days to get the result. and finally doctor submitted on last Saturday.
