Yes they marked next bfd on 13-6-2013 but nothing happened on bfd. I sent case specific enquiry after bfd and got same reply, background checks are undergoing.
Your background checks are not finished yet

another proof as I said before bfd is nothing special, we are all in queue to get MR, that's it, BFD will not help always unless it is close to your queue.
It's not a proof, his background checks are not done yet. His checks were not finished by June so they didn't send him MR

In my caips notes sec/crim checks have been completed and after security and criminality checks, nothing remain pending in background check. These checks are done at last stage of background check, if you have cleared these checks, this mean your background checks are over. Actually, they are waiting for visa quota and quoting pretext of pending backgorund checks in case specific enquiry to satisfy the applicants.
regards

They have no problem with visa quota as they have 1/4th of the visa quota for 2013 used and they are still sending MR's and PPR's, security and criminality are two different things can you check them again that which one is clreared, you should write to the program manager.

Hi AAJ,

Can you let us know, which country your from and where are you currently living?
Also, did your Ecase changed to Decision made before receiving the PPR..

Thanks

Ksez

Dear Ksez,

Thanks a lot... my Ecase status is still showing "In Process". Though i know that in some cases "decision made" appeared before receiving PP request... but my case was different... :)

::Interesting Fact::

Scary part:
-----------

7,808 cases were processed by LVO in 2012
5,886 cases were refused :(
Approval rate 25% only

Smiley part
----------

5,204 cases processed b/w April 1, 2012 to March 31, 2013
2,752 cases refused :(
Approval rate increased to 47% :)

----

Now let's analyze it further..

7,808 cases in 2012 means 1952 case per QTR.
So... for three qtr => 1952 x 3 = 5865
5865 cases -> more than the cases processed b/w April 1, 2012 to March 31, 2013

Does it mean -> negligible no of processed cases in 1st quarter of 2013? the answer is YES!!

Why ?? it could be that the LVO is waiting for visa quota to be allocated.

let's revisit approval rate again.

Jan'12 -> Dec'12 => 25%
APR'12 -> MAR'13 => 47%

Which means most of the cases processed in last quarter were successful case.

note:- This is my view based on the facts provided by CIC. You dont have to agree on this.

the above is WRONG!! The law of averages is an erroneous generalization here and going against the fact :)

means... i just analyzed the working inventory of MI-1 cases.. and here are the facts..

Total working inventory of MI-1 applicants as of Dec 2012 -> 4,215
Total working inventory of MI-1 applicants as of MAR 2013 -> 3,197

there is indeed a considerable no of reductions in cases in first quarter.. i.e. 1018 cases.

so cases processed b/w April 1, 2012 to March 31, 2013 = 5,204
cases processed in first quarter of 2013 = 1018

cases processed in last three quarters of 2012 = 5204 - 1018 = 4186
Total cases processed in 2012 = 7808

so the cases processed in first quarter of 2012 = 7808 - 4186 = 3622

Bottom line:
Not a big deal for LVO to process remaining 3,197 cases in 2013 ... let's hope for the best

Today I have received mail from agent with PPR, but an attached CHC document showing PPR issued on 11-May-2013. and passport submission date expired on 20-June-2013.

Agent has also mentioned the same thing with mail and asked me to submit passport ASAP to Abu Dhabi.

I need guidance from seniors or experience members "Is there any issue in this scenario?" My agent has sent enquiry last week and he got mail from CHC that the decision has been taken in May itself and sent PPR with that.

Please suggest and share your experience.

Hi AAJ. Hi. Did you receive the PPR through e-mail or regular mail from PVO.

Is their STRIKE " OVER OR NOT YET ????????????????????? :(

Strike has minor impact on Immigration cases, the major impact is on Student & Visitor visas.

So don't worry about strike. Let them do their work. Equal work, Equal money!
