Thoz who got 6-12 months wait letter

I came across a case today, a colleague of mine got his meds done in Aug 12 and was waiting for update, he wrote to VO a month back showing concern that meds are near expiry. The response he got was shocking, they were corresponding with him on wrong email address. As per him, they appologized and issued him PPR, so I guess it's no harm in writing if there is an unusual delay at any stage...

Dear Sibbi,

Please note that the BFD mentioned in my latest CAIPS (though I received it yesterday only) is 04 June 2013. I received my PPR on that date and later got DM in eCAS post this date. However, at the stage prior to that, it was shown as below:

PSDEC 1, SELDEC 4, BDEC 0, MEDDEC 0, OREQ 0 & FINDEC 0

You seem to be one of the senior most applicant as per the Excel sheet and it is ridiculous that your case is still pending. One big mistake we all did was to apply during MI1 as even many MI3 applicants are already there in Canada and settled by now. I can only pray that may it not get in to the fifth year of waiting...Good luck bro.

@ ASK & SIBBI, IN MANY CASES VO IS NOT UPDATING GCMS/CAIPS, BUT SOME DECISIONS R ALREADY MADE.

One guy from ND got BFD in 2015

Today I got my 2nd GCMS notes. I find following changes in new gcms notes:

Application assignment:
due date: 2015/01/1

Paper file: 1
location: RET
FOSS: Y

Please let me know about these changes. what does this mean?

I have the same position in caips notes which mean LVO waiting for visa quota before sending medical. Hope for the best.
