It means the case is in process and not denied when everything is cleared after medicals and decision is made in your favor and seldec will be changed to 1

what i understand is that the CIC process is sequential and divided into stages... like.

1) Paper screening
2) selection criteria
3) background checkup
4) medical decision
5) other requirements
6) final decision

and IMHO.. only.. once VO checks the application and verifies based on the full documents provided, then i guess selection criteria is fulfilled and it should be tagged as 1-Passed.

But facts are proving otherwise... well let's see

In our CAIPS notes which we got in Nov 2012, our SELDEC was mentioned as 1 and we noticed an additional line on our eCas 'We started processing your application on xxxx date' by 21st Dec 2012. After that in Mar 2013 we got our MR.

You were selected for points, medical and security decision is still pending so they write 4 means, "putting off immediate consideration" "you are not selected for visa yet"

Most of the applicants on SMSH list have passed 36 months after full documents and still waiting for MR's, I think they really mean what they said about the 18 months

i think, you meant "initial docs" submission date is now more than 3 yrs for most of us NOT "full docs" , i will complete my full docs submission date on January 2014.

The list is counting time from the submission of full documents to the VO

2. ielts 7 band
3. age 32
4. experience 8 years out of which 5 years in banking
5. proof fund fixed deposit 15 lacs
6. noc 1112 , experience in current job , working in bank which is 11 months will complete 12 in aug
7. file received by mike on 24th june
8. dd file with pr form
9. all job description . salary slip, experience certificate attached with the same
10 only pcc is pending

Dehli CHC are issuing Medicals to April, May and June canadidates.I have also noticed mostly are from NOC code 0213. Can we aspect LVO the same in our cases as well.
