Thoz who got 6-12 months wait letter

Dear Friends,

I am pleased to announce that with the help of ALLAH (SWT), last afternoon, received Visas and CPRS. Tried to update yesterday but the link was down. Visa stamping date is 05th June (the day ADVO received my passports) but were returned on 13th June which I received yesterday 16th June.

Here I would like to take the opportunity to thank you all for the support and PETIENCE been showed on this forum in helping others and also to understand from others.

I am INSHALLAH going to land MISSISSAUGA on 12th Sep'13 and will update my contact there, if someone needs any help there.

Dear experts,
Happy to see all of you are waiting the conclusion of Can Immigration with high spirits from last 3 years, while the original projected time was announced 1 year - so all of us exausted our 2 years energies, resources, money and time
As I previously mentioned, I passed through medical exam on 7 Jan' 2013 at Lahore and still waiting for Passport request 1/2. Would visa office issue me a visa untile 7 Jan' 2014 or would they grant some grace/extra period for expiry of visa? Or may we specially request VO to grant an extra time of 2/3 months if they send PR before the expiration of medicals?
Please enrich me from your experience or knowledge?

Current trends show PPR-1 is being sent in 3-6 months after MR. Nealy 79% members of this forum got PPR-1 in 3.5 months. As you have not received any feedback on PPR-1 yet, this might probably be due to "Background checks" have not been completed or due to load of work your visa officer have overlooked your case. The best I would suggest: Send Visa office a CSI (if you have not sent it yet) mentioning your dates of Medicals etc.

Fact of the matter is , If you receive PPR-1 before your medical expires (depending you background checks completion) , then your Visa will only be valid till 07 Jan 2014. Otherwise if your medical expires + you dont receive PPR-1, then you will have to go through medicals again along with your family(this has happneded with some applicants). I have read PPR-1 of my friends. Visa office neither extends validity of Visa nor gives grace period. It is clearly what they mention in PPR-1.

In summary , based on current trends, be optimistic and inshAllah you will get PPR-1 this months.

E-cas status changed to Medical received on 23rd March'13.

Hi Folks,

Best wishes to all those who are moving towards next step and for those who have finished this long and tiring journey of Canadian immigration.
I am very curious (in fact getting a bit frustrated) to know the time frame for my medicals . It has been almost 8 months since i got the updated document request and till now it has been complete silence from LVO. Seniors and experts can you please shed some light over the time frame???
Meanwhile i had a baby and also i have submitted all the required documents for new born but LVO is sleeping for quite a long.

Hi. First of all, let me clarify this fact that extra time is not allowed when the medicals are done in any circumstances whatsoever. You have to travel to Canada within the medical validity and its not the headache of Canadian High Commission that how much time do you have. You have to make all of your arrangements even if there is only one single day is left in the medical validity (after the issuance of visa so visa issuance does not matter the main thing is the medical validity). In case, if there is no activity of both PPR 1 or PPR 2 till January 2014, then you will have to appear in the medicals again and then you will have 1 more year. Nowadays, as they are only processing the existing inventory and the new intake of applications is negligible so you can expect that your matter will be resolved soon.

Send a CSI and apply for the CAIPS notes so check the activity on your case.

HI All,
O bhaeeo one quick question i.e. "What is the procedure to inform the CHC UK of a new arrival (New baby) and concise please?"
Any thing that need to be produced means Birth Certificate, Registration form B form, Passport, UK residency card etc.
The child is to be born (Inshallah) in UK so much appreciated if someone with similar experience could advise.
