AOA all forum members

i was asked to snd the schedule A form via email again in may.. a couple of days later after snding i snt a CSI askingf if they got the mail and wn will i get MR... to that i got a reply yesterday...the same standard reply that you are going through background chks and will contact you wn done...thats the update from my side

now badar bhai,,coolguy,,nekeol,,smsh,,sheeno,,eemmoo,,jadeedgeek,,jimmypage and all seniors i need ur help in a matter.

i applied in NOC 0213 ... till may i was working as HEAD OF IT/MIS but i got a promotion and now in addition to being head of IT i am also head of another department which is not directly related to computers but as i had experiance in that area as well and it involves computer work i was given the job... now my question is if i inform my immigration officer of the change would it effect my application at this stage although now i am leading two departments and its a very high profile job and the place i am working at is very renowned...my concern is only that this new department is not directly related to computers... plss i'll be waiting for ur answers

thanks in advance and prayers for all
if ur eligibility is already passed, then no problem at all. but if ur eligibility is not passed from visa office, and bgc r still is progress, then avoid to add new job, keep the old job duties as per ur noc, u can update later on, to avoid further delys and extension in bgc.

Dont be worried. I did my medical 10 days after yours. I wrote CSI three times and finally got reply that "Background Checks are under way and there is not further action required on my part".
My personal opinion (you may disagree) this is taking little bit more time than expected duration of 3 months after MR.My guess, 8 Month minimum after MR!! ::)

It may not take that long MARCHIE and mirza_g...just a few applicants including myself, had to wait that long after the MR. We can expect a faster response since your VO has been shifted to Paris. Though in processing time chart, PVO is slower than LVO, we are witnessing just the opposite. Keep your fingers crossed. I have seen applicants who applied before me still waiting for any response including UDR where as some applicants who applied much later than I did, who are already in Canada. It is neither my fault nor theirs. I have completed 43 months from my initial application to CIC. There are no hard and fast rules in this immigration game.

I don't call them unfortunates, but you might be aware that many applicants here have been issued a 18 month wait letter after already getting a 6 - 12 months wait letter. It is unfair that it is not as per a first come first serve basis that the applications are processed, nor they can clearly mention a time frame for your application. They are temporarily put on hold, not rejected! Considering the fact that there are more than 7000 people from around the world using the Come to Canada tool of CIC every day as per a news release two days ago, we are all lucky enough that our cases have been approved and are at least having a positive outcome, while many aspirants have been denied even this.

Since CIC has much more than sufficient applicants interested in coming to Canada, all we can do is wait either by thanking God for bringing you this far or by abusing CIC and its Minister Kenny. It is in our best interest that we wait as CIC is not forcing us to come to Canada and making you wait. I would like to thank Almighty for helping us get through this far and entrust us up on his mercy in the future too. Good luck to all at different stages of their application. God Bless.

Hi all

I have done my medicals on april 16.2013
medical recieved line added early may between 6 and 10 May ,2013 no date present on ecas
updated documents recieved by paris visa office on 21/05/2013
I have my 3 kids on my wife's passport and will not be able to split them till mid june when I go home for vacation.
My question is there a time limit for sending the passports after VO requests it ?
I read somewhere its 30 days can anyone confirm plz?

I just read that on one of PPR letters
If there are children included in your passport, there must be blank pages for their visas as well.
Does this mean that children can still stay on Mother's passport or each should have a separate passport?

Today I received my third CAIPS notes. I did my medicals on 21-Apr-2013. CAIPS shows the following:
M 01 H 1 D 1 T 1 S 1 . E 1
Medical Status Code: A
MOF: Anastasija Ridajeva
Initials: rathnat
IMS - Visa notified on 13 May 2013, Case Status 'Assessed 01'
What does this mean? If my medicals are clear, why hasn't the e-CAS changed?
Secondly, my BFD is 11-07-2013 to SLM. Will I get PPR on that date?
MY BDEC is 0, MEDDEC 0. OREQ 0, I guess they are still waiting for background checks to complete. Hopefully everyone will get through in due time.

DO children need to have seperate passports or visa will be issued on their mother's valid passport?

@kaafmeem

in my caips all r similar to u bfd is 23/7/13. wt i observed this is last stage before ppr let us hope for the best .

It says - 'It appears your file will be ready to be finalized once your spouses medical result has been assessed' - If they had not received, they would have used the term 'your file will be ready to be finalized once your spouses medical result has been received by our office'. So, don't worry. From my personal experience, your next step should be just a few days away...Good luck.

yup you are right and thanks ... i called IOM today and they have told me that my wife's report are already sent to UK on 20th May ...and provide me the tracking number

For change in job, you just need to send appointment letter (designation, job role doesn't matter)

The purpose of informing them is to update them latest job and change in mailing address (if ur office address is used for correspondence)

Relax and update them, no issues

thankyou COOL bhai ...but i am working at same place ...my job not changed just being promoted here and now m head of two departments.. so its ok to inform ??
