"Canadian Experience” a systemic unfair employment barrier to new comers

Internationally educated new comer professionals to Canada are facing two common systemic unfair employment barriers, 1) credentials not recognized, 2) wealth of knowledge and experience they bring from the world is not valued by the employers in Canada. The irony is internationally educated professional were granted permanent resident status due to their credentials and experience along with their professional skills.

One Voice Canada is a not for profit organization, based in Toronto and we have launched a petition against this unfair human rights practice in the labour market and in few weeks 750 + plus people had singed the petition online so far. This petition is growing by the hour, It is great to see local Canadians are fully supporting this petition to help the new comers to Canada for a better economic life in Canada. We had received signature from across Canada and beyond borders now. This petition is getting the attention worldwide without any media support.

A sustained growth of signatures for this petition from across Canada will transform this petition to a nation wide movement of justice for better economic and equal opportunities for the new comers to Canada.

This can only be possible if we keep encouraging everyone around us who has not signed the petition yet, to request them to sign, support and promote this petition of “Canadian Experience” a systemic unfair employment barrier to new comers”.

Add your voice to this petition today and be part of this growing movement of support towards new comers to Canada.You can sign the petition by visiting the following link and hopefully you will encourage your circle of influence to support this cause as well.

Yes I remember, earlier there used to be explanation on the terms like decision made in the ECas,
Which cannot be seen now.
It used to be as 1) recieved by visa office, 2) in process 3) decision made.
But as coolguy replied, when you click on your status u can find on which level you are.

Dear SMSH,

Please stay positive...You seem to have lost interest in the whole process after getting the 18 months letter as I can observe it from your forum activity pattern...Cheer up...What ever happens, happens for a reason and is the best for you, chosen by the Almighty. May be a few extra months of delay is to avert something bad that would have happened otherwise...A +1 for you to cheer up and to be back in action...

This is also an invitation to all other formerly very active members like Arsh, Jimmy, Zeshan, Khan, Sunny, Sunasir, Phdmaker, Way, Jadedgeek, Hiz, Sama, Destination, ...(to name a few)... to be back in action...It was always good to see you all in action...Though there was nothing much happening from the VO, the forum used to be active, but ever since the 18 months letter got issued, we have been struck by an awful silence....which we have to come out and keep ourselves engaged.

very positive :)

Thanks ASK ...

This is not the matter that we've completely disconnected from the forum but yes, posting ratio is very low after getting the 18 Months Love letter.

But we <18-Months Guys> should not give up. This is not actually a 18 months.. Last year when we all received 6 - to - 12 months letter our BF'D was also aligned with it but it's different at this time.

I received UDR + 18 Months on 25th Feb 2013 if it's the case of (26-Feb-2013 + 18 Months) then my BF'D should be Aug/Sep 2014 but my current BF'D is 12-Aug-2013. Yesterday, I get back my CAIPS notes. One more thing which may be interesting and that is BZZ & BZ2 (Difference in these two words:

Paper file sent to PA, File BF'D to: BZ2 on 12-08-2013 Microlocator

and last year it was:

Paper file sent to PA, File BF'D to: BZZ on 19-04-2013 Microlocator

[/quote
I am also for same NOC as yours. My UDR date was 26th Feb. It's good to see your next BFD is in August..
I am also going to make ATIP request. Let's see what comes out.

Are you in dxb?

Thanks for all your kind words.

Just a small concern...I have never been asked to submit my Canadian address any time during the application. Do they ask for a Canadian address during the PPR? I have read it couple of times about the address in E-cas changing to Canadian address post Decision Made. Would someone already having the experience or knowledge care to explain? Thank you.

Yar I guess we all went back to routine life and become a trained waiters :)... Jokes apart, I think everyone is on the forum, reading the posts, since it’s not too happening now so everyone is just reading….. As far as I am concerned, I moved back to Lahore from Karachi so busy in settling down…. I hope as soon as I get free from this, we all will have MR in our hands :)

Would any senior member shed the lights on this. Thanks

Please spare my ignorance, but when the information is transferred to GCMS? And all those who have received 18 months letter should order CAIPS or GCMS and what difference iot would make ?

@ UZB

I love to share your requested information but I'm sorry CAIPS notes have very limited information. The cases which are transferred in GCMS system, have detaild information.

In my case, the following information I can guess, may related to background/security check:
1- FOSS Check -> Done
2- SECURITY DECISION (BDEC) -> 0 (?)
3- SECURITY DECISION (SDEC) -> 0 (?)
