Why today? Is there any logic for this !!!! Please share so I can do it today itself...
Today is the day 25th when your name will pop up on the screen and when they see your CSE they will just send something if not then it will go back in the line and you will get the computer generated reply, remember right place right time, if you are sending CSE on 30th then what's wrong with today

@ Jimmy : do you think I should send CSE if I don't receive any thing by end of April
My due date as per GCMS is 25/05/2013 I don't know why?

DEAR SMSH,

DUE DATE OF MINE IS ALSO SAME AS YOURS i-e 25-MAY-2013.......DO THANK TO GOD, THAT THINGS R MOVING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION,ALTHOUGH PACE IS SLOW, BUT IT'S A GOOD SIGN !!! ..... AND I THINK VO SENDING WAIT LETTERS OF 18 MONTHS COZ THEY WANTED TO CONCENTRATE ON BACKLOG, NOT TO RESPOND CSI(S),HOPE THE WAIT LETTER HOLDER(S) WILL GET THEIR MR/PPR SOON INSTEAD OF 2014.......OTHERWISE 2014 IS NOT SO FAR.

BEST OF LUCK

Congratulations!!! Good to see someone getting PPR within two months of medicals. Best of luck for future.

Does anyone have a theory about when PPR is received after MR. It appears some applicants get PPR after two months of medicals while others haven't got it even after six months. I completed my medicals on 21 Apr 2013, when do you think I can get PPR.Seniors, please help!!! Any comments will be appreciated.

Congratulation to all having progress in their process, good luck to those whose process completed successfully.

Depends on your luck as timeframe is fluctuating for different friends. GOOD LUCK

The current trend is 2 months from MR to PPR1. I have confirmed from my friends. Those who are getting MR after Jan 01 2013 , are following this same trend. So in my personal opinion... you can expect PPR1 on or just after 21 June. I am in same queue :)

Dear All
I have landed here three weeks ago. I wish you all the best but I want to suggest few things.
1. Forget your past work experience as the Canadian market requires the Canadian work experience.
2. Get the license, like the one required in teaching, or look for the thing that facilitates you to get at the right job relevant to your field.
3. The jobs is here is easy to get if you have a local reference. the job is referral based..make contacts and use them as references in your resume.
4. in coming months, the jobs will be open in the spring, so modify your resume to suit to the requirements of retail stores and Tim Hortons.
5. Female or male should prefer to apply at the Tim Hortons as there are many brown skinned people working there. After landing, you will understand the term Brown skin.
6. The best way of job here is to do a security guard course...its easy and job is not that tough if the company is lenient.
7. Donot waste your money in the projects which are long term based. Please find the odd job (to get the Canadian experience) that would bring money for your kitchen (instead of eating up the savings that you would be brining from Pakistan.)
8. For grocery, here is a trend to buy the grocery on every Friday from famous stores as the grocery is on sale. Promotional flyers are a common discussion here and a favourite pastimes of women and men.

Others will share experiences but I stress on the points from 1 to 4. Also, remember to use the immigration centre for taking out the prints of resume and cover letters. To get the Canadian experience, volunter is another way being given by the Immigration centre. This will help alot to adjust quickly in the market. Also, if you want to travel quickly for the job, buy 128 CAD pass valid for a month..its cheaper as compared to 3 CAD token to travel. Two way trip will cost 6 CAD for a single person...and 180 CAD whereas the pass costs 128 CAD. show it to the driver while boarding the bus (TTC bus) and enjoy. Otherwise, keep a wide collections of coins to buy the ticket.
If you buy a three in one printer, also look at the price of the cartridge as the printer is 38 CAD but sometime the cartridge is for 18 CAD. :)

My letter date is 27 Apr & In Process date is 25 Apr...
I think it is better I send them CSE on 30/04/2013 so they will have one working day to do any action after the weekend...
What do you say guys???

Send CSI at the end of 1st week of May. I am wondering why you have BFD in MAy?

Dear,

there's no pop up thing happening.. they generate BF reports with a range and in return they get applicants with BF dates falling in the range. If any action pending, they proceed with an offset time and future BF dates adjusted automatically. VO can increase BF date themselves also without taking any action, in situation like waiting for some reports from third party and didn't receive it or there's no visa quota so no action.

SMSH has also mentioned that his due BF date is in may.

That's good news. Hope it's this way for everyone. I did my meds in last week of march '13. I send a CSE last week n got a reply saying, 'meds have been received and we will contact you in the due course.'
Hope it's not more than 2 months!!
