Hi, ALL AOA,

I am writing my individual experience and want to share with you guys. it is my individual experience & i am not saying that " Do not come to Canada"

I landed in Calgary on 4th April. In 10 min i was out of the airport as all the process completed in fast. Now i am in Toronto. What i observed that its not worth to leave the Pakistan ( Specially if you have a job) and family. Here In Canada No jobs. So i planned to move back to home country at least i have respect there and doing respectable job.

I met several people. 1% are chances to get the jobs in area of interest/education. Otherwise people specially from Pakistan are doing " Security jobs available on & off not permanently, General labour jobs ( In factory & In warehouse) some get the jobs in coffee shops like "Tim Horton" "subway".

Yes if you have Canadian education & Canadian experience you will get the most respectful job with in a month within your area.

So please do come to Canada but not with the high hopes like me.

Expenses : Minimum Rent for 1 bed room if you stay in basement " is 750$. if you stay in apartment. 1 bed room starts from 1000$ in Toronto & 1150$ in Calgary . grocery 250$. Bus pass or travelling exp near 120$. mobile connection 25-40 $. Please do arrange your stay before coming to Canada. Basements and Apartments are very hard to find. Electricity bill around 40$. internet & cable near 40 to 60 ( I am not sure).

One disadvantages of living in basement that you people wont find peace in your life. Cause your time will pass by hearing first floor sounds in your ears as houses are made with woods.

I share best possible with you.

Dear Adil,

Thanks for sharing, within two weeks you gave your opinion about Canada:)
I think it is too early to say something like this…
CIC says that you should have money for 6 months to survive and now please don’t start crying before 6 months are over…
Be Brave…You are a Man!!!

Now read below my advise and of course decision is yours…

CASE-1
If you have enough money to survive for 6-12 months then please do not think even to come back, keep on trying for a job as long as possible and don’t loose hopes as insha Allah you will get a good job soon…
The answer is already in your statement, Canada Education + Experience ( and that you can’t achieve 1% if you stay outside Canada)

CASE-2
If you are in financial problem then stay until you get your PR Card & come back to your home country save for 2 years and then move again to Canada.

CASE-3
No idea about further options…this is possible after detailed discussions….if you like to chat…

Always Think positive…

Wassalam

Aoa all,

I received additional documents request email today and it says that I should receive medical request within 48 hours. The email also states to not make any case inquiry in next 8 months. This worries me that still there is a long way to go. If this is the fast track then God knows what will be the normal track?

Secondly, it says to pay the Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF). Should I pay it now?

FYI, my visa office is London and in the email it states that my file is transferred to Paris and I received email from Paris.

Regards

Faisal

Hi All
Yestarday I got reply from LVO in response to my CSI that file is still going undergoing background checks. However, as per CAIPS background check is completed. It seems LVO waiting for allocation of visa quota.

I think all offices are allocated quota at start of year in Jan. These are just delaying tactics from VO.

Sorry it might seems stupid question :-[, but how do you know who signed it?
As for me all what I got from my consultant is the shipment tracking number where I found that it reachs LVO on certain date.

Tracking number can be entered on courier website (DHL, Fedex, etc) and you will come to know who received it

Dear all my updated docs reached UK immigration office on week ago, but i have not received any email nor acknowledgement ! ???
Suggest me , should i write them email or leave it?

Murtaza, First of all, i would suggest you not to worry about your docs because if the website of the courier company is showing it as "Delivered" then no problem. Secondly, The Canadian High Commission never sends an acknowledgement to anyone. Now, i wanted to share my personal experience with you and then i think it would be easier for you to make any decision in this regard. When i sent my docs, one very expert person suggested me to wait for 30-45 days and then send a case specific inquiry asking about both the delivery and the current status of your case. I did exactly the same and sent a CSI after more then 40 days and the results were marvelous. They replied after around 10 days and not only acknowledged the receipt of documents but also informed me that they are processing my case. So its better to have "Eik Teer Se 2 Shikaar" rather then immediately sending an email and get no results in return.

in Fedex also, you can see the person who has signed it

Call Fedex in Dubai and they can help you
