You must send a CSE to LVO asap as passport validity should be atleast 6 months. If you send this passport, they may send it back saying not enough validity.

For pr visa, 6 month validity requirement is not necessary for sure.

MY wife's passport has valid US visit visa on her old expired passport, but even then she can travel on that US visa along with her new passport. Me too think it might not be required. however , one cant take risk so would better suggest to renew, if possible.

Anyone can plz confirm that old passport with validity can be used for pr visa stamping even if u applied for renewal of passports?
My passport is expiring in Oct 13 whereas meds in Feb 14 and that's why I applied for renewal of pp in last Feb but due to on going issue of unavailability of passport stationery, authorities at passport office not able to issue me renewed passport before end of next month which will make me unable of sending pp photostats requested in ppr1 in due time.
So, if I am intending to enter Canada before Oct then can I use my old passport for visa stamping and will this passport containing visa remain valid even when I receives renewed passport as well?

ON & OFF I CHECKED THE STATUS OF MY PASSPORT BUT STILL NO PROGRESS & HAVE SEEN BIG BANNERS THERE THAT "MACHINE KE KHARABI KE BINA PER ORDINARY PASSPORT 4 MONTHS MAY AUR URGENT PASSPORT 2 MONTHS MAY MIL SAKAIN GAY"

TO AVOID ANY INCONVENIENCE GOVT OF PAKISTAN MADE ARRANGEMENT'S FOR PASSPORT RENEWALS!!! BUT I DONT KNOW THE PROCESS OF PASSPORT RENEWAL.

ITS HUMBLY ADVICE TO THOSE WHO IS LIVING IN KARACHI AND WANTED TO MAKE NEW PASSPORT OR WANT THEIR PASSPORT RENEW.....SHOULD IMMEDIATELY CONTACT TO PASSPORT OFFICE (KARACHI) & GET THOROUGH INFORMATION FIRST FOR PASSPORT RENEWAL COZ I THINK THIS IS ONLY THE SOLUTION TO GET YOUR PASSPORT VALID.........OTHERWISE TO GET NEW PASSPORT EVEN WITH URGENT FEE IS A BIG BIG ISSUE AT THIS TIME.

recvd wait (one yr) letter april 20 2012.
additional doc requested -Nov 15 2012.
after this till to date still my e-status is "IN-PROCESS". NO CHANGE , NO EMAIL........ITS ALL QUIET.
Only 30days left to 12 months completion of "wait letter.

Hi ,

While sending the updated docs and RPRF Fees to Paris, there is no requirement for photos.

Want to double check, if photos are required in updated docs.

Anyways u will be required to take 5 pics with the medicals. There is no harm is sending just in case..why to leave any chances...this us just and advice....I got my PCC today...still waiting for the green light of the agency...for medicals.

Dear Friends,

I am going through a very serious problem now a days, yesterday my maid washed my Passport while i was on a tour to pakistan, i have showed it to FIA director Passport, he said this is no more valid, and the worst part is i have to fly back to dubai on 30th which seems like impossible so far, please please please friends help me out as my dubai visa page is also damaged..any comment help will be highly appriciated...

the worst part is passport office is saying we are not issuing any passport now a days as there is no minister to do the signatures...

i am totally freaked, speacially those who live in Dubai (UAE) i need assistance from you guys,

For medical, they need 5 photos for each applicant ?
