Friends, I need your comments/suggestions and thoughts
I am thinking of cancel my consultant representation. I am feeling they are just wasting the time without doing anything
. I gave them my documents after 3 days of getting the UDR and imagine what? They did not send it as of now 
, claiming that due to the need to some of translation work...which translation that take more than 2 weeks?
I want to hear from you what are the consequences of withdraw their representation during this time of my application. I got 18 months letter on 26th Feb. All your opinions/thoughts/suggestions are welcomed

You are at the right track by cancelling them and take yourself a charge.
There is no negative impact on your application and you will be more freely and directly correponding with CHC.
They cannot harm you or your file anyway. Don't worry at all.

Many thanks for your prompt reply. So it won't affect the processing time at LVO?...I have my personal P.O. Box...what else I will need them. I even filled in all the forms myself and gave it to them for more organized and speed work but alas!coolguy2010 said:

You need to fill one form IMM5476E - Use of Representative or cancel of Representative to be filled and signed by you.
Once you mention you regular email address, all the correspondence will be thru email directly to you.
It will not affect your file anyway.

Respected members,
I need your opinion on an important matter. I have been offered admission to PhD in Canada and I am expected to be there before the commencement of classes in Sep 2013. Now there's been no progress on my PR application since I submitted the updated documents in Nov 2012. Do you think I can manage to get the PR visa till August 2013. If not, should I apply for student visa. In that case, do you know how much fund I have to have and if I can take my family too with me to Canada on student visa.
If you know someone in similar situation or have heard about this, please let me know as to what would be the best course of action for me now.
