What I've gotten from BankofCanada site is,

1. Are my paper bank notes still legal tender?
All notes issued by the Bank of Canada since 1935 have legal tender status and retain their full value. If you don’t know how to check notes from past series, exchange them for newer ones at your local bank.

One of my friend, whose one year of wait letter will complete in first week of April has sent CSI to LVO and got the following one line reply from visa office.

"As advised before, we will contact you once documents have been reviewed and processed."

From this short reply, I can guess that how much LVO is busy now a days.

Hi ,

Please send your email on

re-london-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca

In the subject line , write details like the format below

What is your CAIPS BFD / GCMS Due Date?

What is Date on 6-12 months wait Letter - you should send CSE after 12 months from wait letter....

do not send any further CSE...I had bad experience...and they replied me with the wait letter in red color....for the 12 months time...

Still it is OK...bus dua karo that your should get MR instead of 18 months email!

any 1 is there whose full documents received by FRED at LVO ?

I am afraid that our cases "18 months wait letter" will face same situation as 2008 candidates faced?
First we completed 2 years then we got 6-12 months wait letter it became 32 months now got 18 moths it will be 52 months, medical and other requirements onward.
God knows if they say "We are clearing backlog of 2010 cases and rejecting application"
Don't be panic friends this is my observation bcs i think they don't need some specific NOC Skill class due to saturation in Canada.

At least I have 30% hope that I may get success to get in Canada.

Damn . Would that it was like that in our case. :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[

Thanks for your reply. But Alas I got it too late. I saw your reply after sending them my inquiry and could not make file number and name subject of my email. Instead in subject I wrote "Waiting desperately for Medical Request". I gave my file number and other information at the end of the letter. Since I immediately got a reply from CHC that my email has been recieved and they would reply within 28 days and that I should not resend the inquiry so I guess I should just wait for their reply now.

No problem, I guess insha-Allah, you'll get the response in 2-3 days. I have sent five CSIs in last 4 months and every time I did get a reply. Sometimes in two days , sometime in 5 days. May be, it also depends on visa officer handling your case.

I checked with him and he send his updated documents, POF, PCC in the end of NOV 2012 and so far no news for him as well.
He applied for Caips notes last week. Lets see what we have in his Caips notes.
