Today i got a reply for chc london against my CSI shoot couple of days ago. It says your application is currently under background checks which are outstanding and it may take several months to conclude. Based on this reply i think i will have to wait for 4-5 months more to get medical. Seniors please put some insight into it as it really worried me.

This is their delaying tactics.

I think currently they are working on MI 2 & MI 3. I can see in SMSH list a lot of people are waiting for meds after sending documents. Hopefully this months will bring news for MR/docs for all of us. In Shaa Allah

Statistics are not always helpful, events may also play vital role! See below events:

1) All MI1 applicants SELDEC is done last year; 30th June 2012

2) MI2 & 3, though have priority, but after MR all would come in single pool

3) Notice, that LVO is trying best to conclude (means sending them MR or PPR etc.) cases of 2009 (check the SMSH list here or visit www.trackitt.com)

4) Even they have reached March 2010 applicants (few April 2010 with AEO also incl) who had filed their cases to LVO by 1st Sept 2010 (see same above report)

So in conclusion, the situation is not as grim as it is painted here with statistics. All MI1 should get their next step (that's MR as they passed SelDec) during current year.

Your BFDATE or DUE DATE is vital here. Check your CAIPS / GCMS.

Yes I agree to this. Why they will delay for years once they have clearly approved our cases
And note we are not 1 million which can be big impact on Canada's economy

Nobody is painting or trying to spread rumors here. Everybody is using his / her own judgement and assumptions. In fact nobody has idea what is actually happening on ground. Being optimistic is good but being over optimistic is dangerous for one's own health.

It's the visa quota which counts

Hello all,,

there is a new bad news for all, i never wanted to be the face to tell that but thats true, i was just surfing CIC website and was amazed to read that all the M1 applicants who have applied in LVO ....the processing time for new STATS is 33 months as of 01-02-2013...Freaked out man, instead of reducing the time they are increasing the time like anything, WTF......................

Sir

This average time for 80% cases processed till 30-09-2012. Any how by December 2013 every one will be in active processing

Kind Regards

its based on historical data. this will go down as they decrease he numbers from old M1 cases.

Dear All,

AOA & Good Morning,

I have reviewed excel file with another angle and would like to comment as follows and you may disagree to it.

1. All applicants are not active in our list & the info is not up-to-date which can give a wrong interpretation.
2. We have 70 people in list and hopefully this 6-12 months wait letter has been sent to many hundreds of applicants. so we are missing many in our list overall.
3. if I see in almost every NOC some % has received either request for updated docs/MR
4. Now recently 33 months has been updated as processing times by CIC

With the above 4 points I am still hopefull to get MR in next 2-3 months before they start taking new applications in May 2013

Further, I also assume 3 months more to the current processing time of LVO for MI 1 which means 3 years from the date of Full docs...
and with this worst case 90% of this full list will have their Visa in 2013 itself....and only 10% will have the Visa in Jan/Feb 2014

So I am not optimistic but realistic with my observation and this analysis....of our future.....

Wish you goodluck to all and a bright future in Canada.... :)

Wassalam,
SMSH

I agree with your first point. To do a correct analysis, we need to have complete information. Lets' all give their status of our case again irrespective of change or no change.

For Me... it's the same - waiting letter awaiting MR or Update docs.
