I have same case. :( 23000$ in current account from 2010. if I invested in some property i would make 28000$ upto now. Very slow process I alos got 6-12 months wait letter. no one able to answer our query if we withdran and invest it

Dear it is very difficult to answer the query. My guess the whole process after the this 6 - 12 months wait letter can take upto a year to finalize the whole process. The question is you never know whether they will ask the proof of funds again. If they are satisfied initially submitted documents then they will not ask you for the proof of funds again, as we have seen here that in most cases they didn't ask for the proof of funds again and in some cases they did ask for it again.

The best shot will be apply for capis, if it is mentioned in your capis that they will ask for proof of fund again, then you should arrange for it, otherwise leave it as is because of the current economy. The other viable option is to buy US dollar or Gold as these to options will appreciate and are treated as convertible money besides property, as property know one knows when it will sell.

Thanks for your valuable comments. I would like to know if I apply for CAIP Notes and if it does not mention POF for next step, then I withdraw amount from bank and invest or I directly send email to VO and ask about such condition? what would be the better way?

Selling the property is not an issue, I can do it in a week time since my property is a mix of commercial and residential I mean 3 shops in the front and a residential house, I would be happy if some one told me either they except the valuation certificate or not, as far as I know they used to except it but a practical example from some one give me confidence.

Thanks

I don't think it is written anywhere that once you submitted statement of any bank after that you cannot withdraw money or change even change bank accounts. There is a confusion about how they verify customer statement. According to my knowledge they can only verify that whether the applicant had such amount stated in the bank statement with the bank or not. They don't have the right to verify anything beyond what has written in the bank statement.

Even if they ask you for the proof of funds afterwards, you can always explain in the letter that why you have switched your investment into different bank and in different currency or commodity.

Yaar i really don't know about this, the only thing i know is that in final stages they want liquid cash rather then fixed/hard assets. VO has this assumption that when they will issue you the visa you must be carrying the prescribed amount as cash, and as i said earlier selling a property doesn't have a fixed duration. In your case you may have the advantage of selling the property quickly, but what is the evidence of it. Think as you are the visa officer.

Hi Everyone,

Our application was filed on Dec 2009. Our file was reviewed and process on March XX 2012 and we submit ADR on May xx 2012

Today we got an email from our consultant that they receive our medical request and they are now in the process of forwarding to us all the medical forms. Very happy with this news.

But I have a bit of a probelm -

As I mentioned earlier, last May xx 2012, we submit to LVO the ADR (RPRF/PCC/updated POF and several forms) Our updated POFconsist of the following (family of 4):

1. 3 mos. bank statment ending 30 April 2012 - CAD 16,000
2. Plans (with pre-termination option) - CAD 8,000
3. Market value (independent appraiser) of Property One CAD 30,000 - Property we bought 2 years ago

Number 1 and 2 will cover the minimum POF requirement

Now with their medical request they are again asking for the updated POF. The problem that we have (same query of "Riz1") is that we use half of our fund in the bank to pay for the investment in real property (new property). Im worried becoz now we are short of the necessary fund in the bank to cover the required CAD 23,000

Guys, please please help me with your input on this matter.

Borrow half of remaining amount from family, friends and nearest sources and deposit it in bank. They only believe in Bank deposited funds, please dont take ant risk at this stage.

Thank you for your quick reply "murtazaabbasi" - we are considering a lot of options and also ask our consultant on this. I hope we can come-up of the best and safe solution on this matter. God Bless us all!

MI1 applications would be finalized till Nov 12 INSHA ALLAH
Source ;{The VO's have been instructed to finish MI1 backlog by June 2012 (AKA the ‘FSW – MI1 – inventory Reduction Project' (November 2012 – June 2012))}

if backlog is supposed to be done by June 2012, why we are getting 6-12 month waiting letter..

any thoughts???

6-12 months letter doesn't mean that some will get response exatly after 6 or 12 month, it may mean a case may start other processing during minimum 6 months , which may be started any time or after 6 months
