I forwarded an email to CIC on OCT23 and today got standard reply as below:

Dear Sir/ Madam,

"In response to your email, please note that this file is currently undergoing routine background checks. We are currently unable to advise when the checks will be completed.

Please note that no further action is required from you at this stage. We will contact you as soon as the results of the background checks have been received"

As they are saying Background checks still in process does it means still the security checks not started? or security checks are also called as Background checks.

I got fress PCC request in June and provided it in July since then Medicals are awaited.

Seniors advice required.

Thanks

Did your relative refused to support you with documents or he is not having any required documents???
My opinion IELTS will not be considered at this stage as points for IELTS has been awarded and CIC may not waste further time on this...
You can call me on Skype to discuss further...especially for 2nd relative in Canada

Should I apply for GCMS notes? r they helpful or should I wait and write again after a month?

GCMS is also helpful but it requires approximately 2 months to come

canadians have alloted 47,700/ Visas for FSW category in 2014....this includes federal skilled trades..is'nt it a bit low?

Question to thoz who are sure about it or already landed in Canada?

What should I write in my eye colour once I receive PPR. If I see from very close then all family member eyes looks dark brown but from a distance 1-2 meter it looks black I am confused on this and don't want to face any trouble at landing time....

Thanks & wassalam,
SMSH

This is very important the only thing at the airport is they look at your eye color, you should practice from a distance of .5 meter, usually the VO is .5 meter away from you I think you should write green

Wow...MI-4 applicant "chinook" gets visa in less than 6 months of applying. He applied in MAY 2013:

P.s: te saadi vaari 44 ....OR .....BG check :)

Don't worry about it....you will never face any problem due to eyes colours accuracy.
