Yes, it is NASEEB only that is written by Allah.

A quick example, our immigration file was closed back in Feb 2011 and CIC refunded our initial payment. We only realized that in June 2011 once my husbands' credit card showed an extra money credited by CIC. Then it took 6 months to chase LVO and convince them to reopen our file. All this is done without any lawyer's support!

Alhamdulillah, thanks to Allah, we were given chance back in Feb 2012 to resubmit our file again, then got 6-12 months wait letter, just because our SELDEC which was originally set for Mar 2012 but delayed (due to our own reason; submission of additional docs until May 2012) till June 2012. At last got MR in Mar 2013 & now in Canada writing these words!

So all is destiny, I had lost the hope that by any means we would be in Canada, after file closure, but Allah has written this in our Naseeb (destiny).

So the patience of all 6-12 or 18 months wait letter holders, inshallah will pay off in a much better way. Slow & steady wins the race!

brother i sent them a CSI in last week of july and on 30th got the standard reply from SJM thta you are going through background cheks etc etc..... but still good hopes for august september inshaa allah... aakhri ashra hay sub forum members ko dua main yaad rakhain

Now a days NDVO is sending MR in lots. This might mean strike has not much effected PR applications. Rather temp applications.

My 3 year theory (full docs to visa) worked till previous batch of MI-1 (who r getting ppr these days) ... for us, it will be a new record for MI-1 bus dua karo HO jaye...ab hum late to ho he gaye hein...

Yeah pretty much if you check the list the 1st batch is done within 3 years, instead of going faster to clear the backlog they have suddenly went slow I think it's only LVO which has a backlog of 18000

Same here bro...zeeshan/arsh know it,.. that for the past few months, lookin at the trend, NEW timeline in my mind FOR MYSELF has been :

MR: jan/feb 2014
Visa: after 6-8 months of MR.

Although they don't agree with it n think it ll be sooner...(I also hope n pray they r right)..

it ALL depends on "WHEN we get MR" !!!! Only then visa time can be calculated...till we get MR in hand, the only thing we have in our hand is "CHUNKNA"

My hopes are after Eid as first BFD is 12 Aug for 18 months UDR applicants
So relax for next 10 days further please !
