Each visa offices have their own targets and working independently until unless an executive decision is not forced.

Big example of PVO. They were beyond their targets that's why the application were transferred from different visa offices so that they can quantify their yearly report.

If SMSH list is taken as a sample over 50% cases were issued UDR's and then MR's in 2012 from Oct to Dec, what I think is same will happen with us all of a sudden they will start issuing MR's spreading over 3 months and I think you will be one of the first few blessed ones including Jimmy

i too, feel OCT-DEC are imp for MR for 18 monthers....although I hope n pray MR comes in Aug as some of my forum friends (like zeeshan, arsh, smsh) are saying.....we ll find out soon....

By the grace of Almighty Allah, I got my passport after visa stamped yesterday...

There is that but with few exceptions. My brother had applied in March 2010 under NOC 0213, got 12 months letter in June last year (which was late already considering March applicant) and since then no news whatsoever. If he gets 18 months letter now than it'll drive me crazy which means I would be knocking few doors here in Canada, wait is always a killer especially when you have to wait not knowing the future. His GCMS shows no flags at all, let alone red flags and file has been approved as per the comments by the VO as foot note. I thought initially it is to do with his NOC but if that was the case, there would have been some kind of notes by VO in GCMS to put file on hold......or something along thoze lines
