You got an update document request in OCT/NOV 2012 as well. Did they ask u to send same updated forms & document again or some new docs and forms required in the new request.

I did sent My new born son documents in June which they confirm they received it in their last reply to My CSI yesterday. But they didnot ask me about the "proof of fund for newborn" and "NEW Schedule A Form/Background form.

I added my new born child in June 2012. They also did not ask me about PoF.

They had also confirmed that "Fee for new child has been received"

as per CIC's work pattern, they will ask for POF at the time of your MR, as you have an addition to your family.

I also sent my new born documents to LVO in the june and they asked me to send updated forms and bank statement. since you belong to the Oct/Nov UDR holders so i think they are gonna ask you shortly all these documents so be prepared for it.

I have submitted all the updated forms in OCT/NOV 2012. Also send MY & MY wife updated PCC in that. Only thing which they didnot ask is the POF.

I just received an email from LVO with a standard reply that my file is under background checks which may take several months to complete however they acknowledged the receipt of new born documents. I feel that it will take another 2-3 months to move to next stage of medicals. Frustrating yar......still a long long way to go anyways ramadan mubarak to all forum members.

Dear 43 members of 18 months UDR email holders:
So far 5 of us have provided the BFD/Due date after submission of UDR....
Remaining 38 including my self needs to input the BFD and must apply for CAIPS....I believe...!!!
As I mentioned earlier that CAIPS.CA website owner told me to apply after 30 days of the deadline and give one month to Visa office to review & update UD.
Which I will complete on 26/07/2013.....and I am planning to apply GCMS repeat in 1st of 2nd week of August....inshaAllah...Minimum this can give me a peach of mind for my next BFD and I expect inshaAllah MR will be the next good news for all of us.....
On the other hand out of Five, 4 applicants have BFD in August and 1 in Sep... which is making me double minded to see the output of BFD and then apply ......I don't know what to do?
But again it also depends on case to case basis.....

I have question to these 5 applicants who have provided their BFD after submission of 18 months UDR.....
When you applied for CAIPS/GCMS after completion of 60 days deadline or before/after.....please share your date....
Thanks in advance and this can help me to make a decision to go for GCMS now or after sometime.....

Since thats a standard reply ''several months'' can mean anything from days to months. They are not bothered to change the wordings even if the next step is just a few days ahead. So stay happy.

According to my understanding, Security checks starts after the medical. I guess it will be educational and professional documents verification. I do not have long travel history but it doesn't matter as i have seen so many people with long travel history cleared in month.

you already send updated docs in feb with your 18M UDR, why they will ask you again and also strange that they only asked for RPRF but no meds, why??? very very strange, but i dont think they have time to verify all the applicant's educational and professional documents by contacting their home countries, so dont worry and chill. you will be getting those updates as per caips and hopefully meds by the end of 2013.

you will receive UPDATED FORMS,UPDATED PC and RPRF without MR before 22.8.2013 then on your submission there will be security bgc and after it you will receive MR which is ready in your file

All those who received the OCT/NOV update doc request are under background check.

Kindly align ur HR Manager/Manager, if they receive any verification calls they can answer it properly.

One of our Member Waiting_Man_007 gets a verfication call, so be ready.

My gut feeling and information from the forum, we probably getting MR in AUG for sure.

Kindly share ur current BFD dates as well.
