Thoz who got 6-12 months wait letter

There is one clever point in this post which needs attention of jimmy page, zeeshananis, SMSH, and any other who got some intelligent view about this. I see a word "People from Gulf" so the applicants who got this 18 months wait in the letter of updated documents request, are all of them from Gulf as current residence or from somewhere else? My question arises because one retired immigration officer said that applicants from some countries require lengthy background checks and they might have changed the procedure of thorough background checks recently

First of all ... We make sure that all the applicants resides in Gulf who received updated forms request from LVO with 18 months. May be the chemistry is true ..

Secondly ... Do you have any reference link / discussion that made with retired immigration officer?

Oh man! Are you happy or sad! I was hoping that it will be in batches that is, some will get Updated documents till last Friday and then they will stop for a little while and then they will send MR's to the other half.
If you have recieved GCMS, have they used the word "then" or not like request updated forms then MR

P103 has been received now they'll send MR as per CAIPS

Congrats dear,
there is a say something is better than nothing..
now I am so tired of waiting Ya Allah koi achi khaber aajayee..
so if your subject is P103 then for me and +99% applicants has the same status
which means they will send this wonderful letter to all of us and then depends upon luck + NOC in demand will get the MR first...
I think applicants with 18 months email with updated docs request are better who did not receive any thing...
But insha Allah soon all will have some good news...

So far 3 people has received this email for updated docs with 18 months time in my google list...
if you know any one else please update me so I can enter the details...

Paris:
I will add column once there is offcial communication from LVO/Paris to anyone that case is forwarded / received...
And then we can also see that how many of us will be directed to Paris...

Hopefull they cannot dump our like pre-2008 applicants because of following reasons.

1. we have received a confirmation letter that eligibility is done and only medical + criminal +BG +checks pending
2. our CAIPS says that file fully reviewed
3. No CAIPS but online status says started processing.
4. Now most of us have received updated docs & some got MR and PPR + 1 person got Visa on hand as well.
5. and people who were not eligible have already received the rejection letter in year 2012
6. Now Compare the above points with pre-2008 applicants....in fact no comparison....and CIC never sent any letter to pre-2008 applicants what I believe...rest Allah knows better...

So in the light of above i would like to congratulate to all waiters....that our visa will come may be in 2013/2014 but insha Allah it will 100% come...

I have GCMS and it says:
BZZ letter sent with originals via TCS P013 prepared for rprf, meds, pcc, imm frms....., pof"
maybe it's a typing error instead of saying P103 they say P013 I think everybody's CAIPS and GCMS has this letter whether they have MR or request for updated documents

It's not actually means to wait 18 months ... There're 2 parts of texts and have different meanings in nature

this is for NEXT 18 MONTHS. MEANS UNTILL THE MID OF 2014.

LVo couldnt make different letters for different applicants (for those who will get visa in 2013 and for those who will in 2014), thats y they made a standard letter with a timeframe upto which they will have a plan tofinish backlog. So everybody will get this letter with 18 months NO CSI format. but its sure that some will get visa in 2013 and some in 2014 despite what will be written in his updated request letter.

I can make a simple definition of this 18 months time with email of updated docs request.
1. If they want us to wait further they could have easily sent another letter saying that your case is in process and you need to wait till further notice or 12-18 months time and no one can challenge them...
2. If they have asked to submit the documents in 60 days time that means they want to go to next level after 3-4 months which means the PCC+MR will be the next step.
3. Now simply they are exausted with CSE and may due to any reason they can't declare a law that if more than 1 CSE received you case will be delayed. so they always answer to all genuine & rubbish CSE which they want to avoid now and wanted to concentrate to close the file with Visa before target.
+BG for third department.
4. Most probably they have divided the responsibilities so 1st dept will check the updated docs 2nd dept will check the MR 3rd will check the PCC+BG
So lets wait and see as I said earlier......they can't close our cases insha Allah but there are always exeptions and delays are possible,
