Dear Arsh,

I was not referring to CAIPS notes that people are interpreting to their own understanding. My point is about the waiting time as this is a new trend and every one is interpreting to their own understanding. Even people are terming the BF'D as the next date that the file will be opened, which is not.

I agree...

Dears

Would you pls clarify the following :

SELDEC = 4

Some people says it's interview waived and some says it transfered to ECU(As per qorax in some where else thread).

The common interpretation is that it means interviewed has been which is logical these days as after submitting IELTS and being a foreign examinig body, interview is waived.

I am copying and pasting as a member deciphered the codes as below :

Decision Codes
T-11 PAPER SCREENING DECISION (PSDEC)

* 1 passed
* 2 failed
* 3 withdrawal

T-12 SELECTION DECISION (SELDEC)

* 1 passed
* 2 passed on discretion
* 3 OIC required (pro-Proclamation cases)
* 4 waived
* 5 failed
* 6 failed on discretion
* 7 withdrawn
* S passed (H & C consideration) (for Refugees only)

T-13 SECURITY DECISION (BDEC)

* 1 passed
* 2 omitted - all under 18
* 3 incomplete
* 4 failed

T-13 MEDICAL DECISION (MEDDEC)

* 1 passed
* 2 Incomplete
* 3 failed
* 4 dependant failed

T-13 OTHER REQUIREMENTS (OREQ)

* 1 passed
* 2 OIC obtained
* 3 incomplete
* 4 failed
* 5 failed - criminal
* 6 failed - province
* 7 rehabilitation approved
* 8 rehabilitation denied

T-13 FINAL DECISION (FINDEC)

* 1 visa issued
* 2 permit issued/to be Issued
* 4 refused
* 5 withdrawn

SECURITY DECISION (SDEC)

* 1 passed
* 2 omitted
* 3 pending
* 4 refused

CRIMINALITY DECISION (CDEC)

* 1 passed
* 2 omitted
* 3 pending
* 4 refused

Hope this would help you.

Thanks.

Yes u r right however I guess you are new in to this discussion and we are having chit chat on this since march.. Initially, yes every one was guessing about it but now people are 90% sure after receiving almost similar CAIPS for such cases... BFD is the max date on which ur file will be touched in case there is no development, need or requirement to do so .. Lemme give u an example, once asked for Doc update, VO put BFD of deadline however can open it once docs are recieved, if not, he will open on BFD and can take decision without docs...

Yes, but SELDEC 4 has mixed opinion and behavior as well... It means waived but not surity, it's VO's discretion.. Interview can be about job as well... We have an example where one forum member is called for an interview with SELDEC 4... Anyways, in our cases, we can ASSUME and HOPE its waiver of interview :)

I hope and wish that this law won't get approved... I feel this law is more for their future policy as its alligned with expected priority queue system, where required applicants can be given priority no matter where they stand in queue, by this law they can control the less priority ones even if they are approved by VO, maintaining the yearly cap as whole ... Just a guess but pray that God bless us with success

I was a silent reader of this forum for a while (about 14 months) but after getting CAIPS notes and holding 6-12 months wait letter, decided to become a member and share information for the benefit of others. Not sure but guess that I was the first one to get CAIPS notes in those receiving this letter and coming to this forum.

Do share when you would receive the MR? I think you may receive the MR in coming three to five months. Lets
