Thoz who got 6-12 months wait letter

my documents delivered at visa office london on 9th november. My letter was dated 16.10.2012, and vo given thirty days dead line to submit updated documents which mean, case will be taken up on 15/16 november. So lets see what happen next. What is the date marked on ur letter.

My letter was dated 24/10/12 and the deadline was 30 days, deadline does not mean that case will be taken up on that date. Lets hope for the best and a successful speedy process. Also best wishes to the rest who are anxiously waiting for updated docs request.

updated docs request snail mail say aa rahi hay, tcs say aa rahi hay ya email say aa rahi hay?

If not accompanied by Originals documents then mostly snail mail.

Bro...wat Arsh has said could be true...they might have pasted someone else s file #.....the way u can check this is "try to sign into ecas using that 3rd file #"....if it does not sign in, then this 3rd file number is a mistake....and if it does sign in, well, then u have a 3rd file number....

P.s: alas.. itna formula/dimaagh studies mein lagaya hota to shayed aj kuch purh likh he jaatay...

No, Its not so. I have never received wait letter and in reply to my recent CSI, they wrote:
Dear Sir or Madam,

Please use the following file number for future correspondance = B05xxxxxx.

In our previous correspondence dated April 2012 the following letter was sent to the applicant. No action has been taken at this time.
If you require original documents to be returned, please advise us.

and then wait letter copy paste.

and at the end of email, someone added a note: according to notes, Blitz letter wasn't sent .

I guess inko khud b nahi pata k yeh kiya kehna aur kerna chah rahay hain . Khair its my 3rd file number, and I can check ecas using UCI only, None of the file numbers work.

Chalo--use UCI then, I guess...and Koi nahi dost.. we ll forgive them for being confused/inefficient, as long as humein visa de dain...

P.s: a friend of mine just returned from usa...and was very unhappy with the inefficiency/laziness of the airport immigration and then certain offices there too...he said "when it comes to laziness n inefficiency, ye goray hum say bhi baray pakistani hein"

Well, like to mention here that I've not written UCI number in IMM0008 form as I don't have same for my case. Further, there is no column in this form to write our file no. B*********. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes my consultant did the same. But he attached a cover letter with my File Number (also file number on the envelop, binding all documents with double clip). So when CIC would upload the new forms, they will use reference from cover letter/envelop.

Yes, I also attached cover letter mentioning file no. along with documents.

After PPR-1, u get DM...this is the usual thing....and sign of good news...

since everyone I know, after sending PPR-1, got DM status, and then they got PPR-2.....

So, if that's your status, start packing my friend

nice to keep yourself happy, well said, 43% is good, but it would have been much better if ALL 43% have already received MR, cause i believe 70% of those 24 guys only got updated doc request. so, that means we are far away from our target, anyway, at least we are moving with hope and inshallah within 2013 we all will be done with MR at least if not visa on passport. Inshallah.
