Happy Eid and just wanted to share with you some good news as few hours ago received my updated docs request from CHC London via normal post. The letter is dated 24/10/12 posted on 25/10/12 and received today on 27/10/12. The time given for updated docs submission are 30 days from the date of this letter.

I am wait letter holder issued on 26/04/12 and applied in April 2010 while sent complete docs to CHC London in August 2010.

I'm assuming u re not living in pak, since u got your parcel in 2 days of them dispatching it.

My question is :
Have they asked for updated docs , according to your CAIPS?? Meaning have the asked for anything which was NOT written in caips like POF, PCC etc. OR r they following caips word to word?

Mostly, yes. This was/is the general trend.

Although I ve seen a few rare cases on forum recently where MR deadline was 30 days too.

A few months back, I ve seen people get 45-60 days for updated docs. But these days they seem to be in a hurry.

So its not gauranteed....but mostly , "30 days for updated docs, 60 days for medical" is what one can expect these days. Let's see.

I told my wife the same that insha Allah next Eid-ul-Fitar will be in Canada and as we planned to move in July after my kids school final term will be over in June
and now hopes are really high, Ya Allah ham per apni rahmat nazil farma aur hamara kaam asan karady aur hamary liyee wahan per rizq-e-halal wasee karday aur usmain say hum ko teri raah main bhi kharch karnay ki tofeeq ata farma aameen. Request to all to recite minimum 3 time durood-e-pak on our Rahmatul-lil- Alameen Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) and insha Allah things will go more smooth...

I pray aisa hi ho and technically it should be like that but if I will get chance I will prefer to leave after celebrating Eid as I know whenever we leave, it means end of festivity for these occasions, we use to have in Pakistan
